The ScoutCast – Episode 178 – Humbug

‘Twas the night before Christmas when three bearded men, wallowing in mid-table mediocrity, collided via the magic of the internet to relay tales of Fantasy Football.

Settle down – the festive ScoutCast is upon us.

Like the “Three Ronnies”, Jonty, Andy and myself roll out the same old tried and trusted formula in the guise of an extended Christmas special.

We relive the painfully ordinary Gameweek 17, before girding our loins for another bout of community questions as the three us make woeful excuses for avoiding Ighalo, before debating whether the “Dullards” really have slain the “Maverick” Fantasy managers for good.

This episode of the ScoutCast was first aired live on our YouTube channel.

You can stream the full Google Hangout version via the larger player below, or sample the slightly more refined audio edit via this link or the smaller player.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Bench one.

de Bruyne - Ozil - Walcott - Mahrez - Bolasie
    Kane - Vardy - Lukaku.

Why? Is he not fit again, and up against a Skrtel-less already terrible Liverpool defence?

He is, but I am more inclined towards Bolasie, learning that he is doubtful for the game.

Personally I wouldn't bench players based on being a doubt, let auto subs do that. Though for what it's worth I'd bench Bolasie anyway.

Okay, I would get Walcott in that case. Playing down the left these days, and Cedric/Yoshida (whoever plays) is not really good at that defending thing.

Yoshida is THE WORST. But Cedric is the liability that forces Koeman to play him OOP

What are the likelihood of any decent DGWs going forward?

Not used any chips and his may be an opportunity to bench boost, I don't want to save unnecessarily (and unlikely DGWs will suit bench boost...)

There will almost certainly be DGWs. Whether they are decent or not depends on cup results.
