Hello and welcome back to the FFS UEFA Champion’s League tournament. A recap of the Group stages can be found here whilst the draw for the Round of 16 can be found here.
As we enter the elimination rounds, 16 teams will battle their way through tough opposition in the hope of reaching the finals. Let us briefly explain how these ties will happen. Each tie will take place across two legs and the team with the highest aggregate score from both will go through. In the event of a tie, the team that has scored the most away goals will progress. If this factor is also tied, then the draw will follow the standard Fantasy Premier League H2H tiebreakers. The first and second legs of Round 16 will take place on Gameweek 27 and 29 respectively.
We have some fantastic fixtures lined up for this round, with Fantasy Football veteran HVT taking on TLK42 and the unbeaten Zombie facing off against Rodallegabomb. Elsewhere, Irish Madridista appears to have his work cut out as he looks to get past FBorges, whilst crowd favourite Lucy squares up to the consistent Numb, depsite currently having his worst season to date.
Meanwhile, Former Team Oranje and Eire captain Saniul powered his way through the group stages and now faces a tricky fixture against Aliminator, who managed to defeat Giggs Boson to clinch the last knockout spot. He will have to draw upon his vast tournament experience if he is to progress to the final stages of the tournament.
