Why is there so much fear about Sterling rotation? More than for others it seems.

So he basically doesn't have a single typical frustrating blank in 9 GW. A non-feature means you would have scored points off the bench (hopefully), his 1 appearance from the bench he scored, and the 1 time he came off early (at 60 minutes) he had already scored 2 goals & 13 fpl points.
Compare that to Aguero and Jesus. And Sterling costs 8.1. I don't understand the fear and the talk of taking a hit to get a nailed on Pogba etc. What am I missing?
Also, removing the game he missed completely, he has 6 goals and 3 assists from his last 8 PL appearances.
If that was the only stat you knew, and his price, would anyone even care about what his exact minutes were? And the minutes aren't even that big a concern anyway.
Well, apart from the fact he's played 666 minutes this season. I guess you could make a case that Pep has cursed him.

Yeah I agree, and I have it. I've got Sane and Sterling and would take something dramatic to sell either.
But why are people freaking out about Sterling rotation that doesn't actually exist? He's actually quite close to nailed on since the Mendy injury, 4 at the back, Sane on the left, Aguero / Jesus up front but not both, and only B Silva left as competition for all those spots.
City don't actually have a massive squad, so all the fear seems unnecessary.
