Sunday’s four matches get underway with a lunchtime double-header as champions Chelsea host Everton, while West Brom take on Stoke City at The Hawthorns.
Some Fantasy managers will be torn by the Stamford Bridge meeting. The Blues defence are well backed via Fantasy Premier League investment in David Luiz (25.9% ownership) and, of course, Marcos Alonso (18.2% ownership). T
he Spaniard heads into today’s contest off the back of his devastating two goals at Wembley against Spurs, having picked up over 245,000 new owners ahead of Gameweek 3.
However, Everton’s Wayne Rooney has also soared in popularity following back-to-back goals. He claims a 20.4% ownership ahead of the Chelsea clash and is the most popular captain pick on show in the early kick-offs: 93,000 have trusted him with the armband.
Meanwhile, at The Hawthorns, there is no question of the preferred outcome from a Fantasy perspective.
West Bromwich Albion will be seeking a third successive clean sheet against Stoke and boast the Gameweek’s second most popular transfer target in their line-up.
The towering Ahmed Hegazi has picked up over 504,000 new owners ahead of today’s clash and already ranks fourth for transfers in ahead of Gameweek 4 before taking to the pitch.
