So does anyone know a good fantasy site for the World Cup? Wouldn't mind even if it was one of those with unique players with a draft/auction at the start.

Amazed at the hate towards Liverpool on here tonight..Having been on the Kop dozens of times as a neutral, as well as most other PL grounds, the truth is all supporters of other clubs are just pale prawn eating imitations of the best fans in the country. A visit to the Etihad this season did nothing to change my mind....shocking not atmosphere by the worst fans in the country...Palace fans may stay in the room and accept this years runner up spot.

I can't speak for other people but it's the players that make me dislike Liverpool more than the fans. I just can't be happy for a team that has people like Gerrard and Suarez in. Not to mention how the club dealt with the whole Evra incident.

Every footy fan should only want that there club..whoever they are..can show the same passion and generate the same atmosphere as Liverpool and Palace (this season) do. All other clubs are just pale immitations...Having said that no PL club are really at the races compared to fans in other countries...in paticular South America.

I support Spurs but am very fond of Liverpool and was really gunning for them to win this year.
Don't understand this petty hatred of other clubs.. City and Chelsea moderately understandable because of the money but other than that.. na.
They're all just groups of players that wear different colours at the end of the day.

      Evening all.
Just back in from work and heard the report on the radio.

I'm glad I wasn't here to read the bile.....but it probably wound a few people into a frenzy with us getting caught from 3-0 up. Did we sit back or was it panic after getting caught trying to chase too many goals ?

Gutted, but very proud of how Brendan and the boys have got the nose of jumbo pointing upwards.
      Can't wait for next season.

    And the banning begins!

I just jumped on fpl to admire all four of my well fought 1st ranks, only to find to my great horror that I'm now only in three private leagues.

As I post this I'm crying as inconsolably as Suarez for 1/4th of my bragging rights that have been stolen away from me.

Since the league administrator had just moved up to 2nd this GW, figures crossed he accepts my fb friend request, it shouldn't have come as a surprise when I re-entered the league code fpl said "you are banned from this league".

Anyone else got any banning stories?

Very unlucky for you, I wouldn't care too much about getting my money back rather than all the missed prize money. The league I was banned from was my football clubs but there was no cash a stake.

Does anyone one know if there is any kind of cash leagues organized by a company or something, where you don't have to trust the other people in the league. At the moment, I only have bets with my close mates who I know will pay.

hate is a strong word i certainly dont hate the bloke even as a united fan i can openly admit to stevie g being one of the players outside my own team iv admired most down the years for what he does on the pitch...

moving on from that he was on sky sports earlier in the season saying how much he was enjoying man uniteds shocking form...

      http://youtu.be/3eGBhhJYg-M

needless to say i and every other united fan around will have been wetting themselves watching him slip on his ass last week and even more so tonight his team surrendering a 3 goal lead to crystal palace lol...

not so much hatred more a question of if u can sit in the sky sports studio as smug as u like and take enjoyment from uniteds bad form getting on ur high horse coz ur own team is enjoying a title push for the first time in 25 years then expext a hell of a lot back when things go tits up for urself

I've got similar thoughts. Not going Remy though....
Trouble is I'm only 7 ahead (halfway thru this GW) in my works league and my rival has Zaba & Dzeko to my Kun & Demi.....so things may get even worse.
A wrong hit and I could be finished.

I wasn't convinced at buying a Newcastle player.
Backlash at Anfield...I'd go Sturridge ahead of Remy.

What's your opinion on the state of the Premier League? We all say it's a difficult league and that 'anybody can beat anybody' but with clubs doing poor in the CL and then finding it difficult following a European match, coupled with the ever decreasing coefficient ranking of BPL teams, we could see an overall poorer League in the future. Outside of England could this competitiveness really be hurting the league?

It could be worse.. I think City and Chelsea will improve in the coming years.. and Arsenal could surprise a few people next season.
Hard to know with Liverpool and whether they'll keep Suarez and invest much.

It seems a lot of teams begin to run on empty in the latter stages of the season, and then we begin to see strange results, it's a great league but it could lead to us losing CL spots, which in turn will effect the quality of it. I think Liverpool will be lucky to retain a top four spot next season, they'll be in Pot 4 for CL so should be out at the group stages, that may help.

I think Prem should accommodate CL teams with moving fixtures to allow for an extra days rest. That would go a long way to a English squads being more competitive in that competition.

As for the state of the League....i think parody is what makes it so exciting. No fixtures can be taken for lightly.

They can, but simply put, if Real target a player, they get him. If Real come calling for Suarez he will be gone. If they come in with £60m-£70m they'll get him. Most of Real's big targets recently have been the big PL star, CR7, Bale next will be Suarez

I'd agree with this, they could afford to keep him last Summer, but since FSG arrived they've been losing about a million per week, it would go along way towards the future of the club in both transfers and debt to sell him.

They have been more interested elsewhere though, it can change but Suarez may be third choice right now.

I think Falcao's injury, Kun's constant niggles and Suarez's record may have combined to move him to the head of the queue

He is very robust, I could see him fit in well too. I'd love for him to stay, I would like to think he's just temperamental on the pitch, but if he goes I can understand why.

Not disputing his form but Real under Perez operate in a different way and Benzema isn't a big enough name for them IMO.

That sort of stuff doesn't matter to Real, it's about the star names with them, Benzema will be off, either to PSG or Monaco or to the PL. Monaco is a huge possibility if they decide to target Falcao instead of Suarez. Also heard rumblings they may use him as bait to get Kun, though I don't see that one, Suarez or Falcao far more likely.

they have probably made back 4 or 5 times what they spent on Ronaldo when you factor in merchandising.

I think money matters alot in what Real do. But at that end of the game they can set the limits and until there's some law against, Amen

Ok so I don't actually know why Liverpool players were crying. They are still in the exact same situation.
They still need man city to drop points, because they certainly were not going to get the goal difference.
So as long as they drew or better today they stay in the same conundrum.

    Am I missing something?

Yeah it worries me a lot. I've got all of sick ward + mata as it is. Gayle should start now right, hopefully at expense of chamakh. Didn't need extra headache! Only 8pts ahead in mini league and may need a -12 pt hit at this rate!

    Gameweek rank of 2 million!!!!

De Gea, Zabaleta, Nasri, Mata and Wickham to save my gameweek!

With maybe Aguero (c) and Rooney to play!

But I've got Koscielny and Rosenior to come off bench with 11 points and a game!
