Packed with eight Premier League fixtures, it goes without saying that today is massive for us fantasy managers. First we’re off to back off to Villa Park for Aston Villa’s game against Arsenal, and there is some interesting team news…

Two-time Premier League winner with Arsenal, Robert Pires starts for Aston Villa against his old club. John Carew also makes a comeback to the starting line-up as predicted.

The visitors are of course without their captain Cesc Fabregas, and Robin van Persie still isn’t deemed fit enough to start. Tomas Rosicky comes in, but Theo Walcott only has a place on the bench.

Here are the line-ups in full…

Aston Villa XI: Friedel, Luke Young, Dunne, Collins, Warnock, Ashley Young, Clark, Bannan, Downing, Pires, Carew

Arsenal XI: Fabianski, Sagna, Squillaci, Koscielny, Clichy, Rosicky, Song, Wilshere, Nasri, Chamakh, Arshavin

Then, with no evening fixture, we have seven 3pm games to keep us occupied. Possibly the most highly anticipated game today is Bolton Wanderers Vs. Blackpool. Crazy. Elsewhere, joint-top-of-the-table Manchester United host Blackburn Rovers, West Brom travel to Goodison Park, Fulham face Birmingham City, Roberto Mancini’s Manchester City are at the Britannia Stadium, Wolves host Sunderland and Upton Park sees West Ham and Wigan Athletic battle it out.

      are you annoyed arteta gto bps, or that cahill didn't? if it's the latter he does bugger all except score. like a more upmarket version of kevin nolan or the modern day david platt. he will usually need a brace to get bps

        A bit of both really...

        Arteta no way deserved BPs, and Cahill terrorized the Sunderland defence for most of the match. Read any report on the Sunderland game and Cahill will be mentioned as one of the best players, and Arteta will be criticised for a poor performance. Plenty of Everton fans on their forums were saying that he should even be dropped.

    I wish I buggumarked my comment saying that Moyes could well be the first manager to leave this season... I bet he's almost had enough. 'He's taken Everton as far as he can' and all that...

    They may still win this game, but it's definitely a possibility.

    This is going to be a horrible week for me and its only just started!!! All my rivals have cahill, nasri, chamakh, rooney, park(!!). Noone on my team has done anything! My lead is being diminished.

    Sooo judging from the comments, Elmander isn't living up to expectation. Typical I bring him in for a sweet fixture on the back of some good performances and captain him. 8pt hit too. Brunt 1st sub. Anyway the match between Nadal nd Murray is really good.

      If you read through the Newcastle FC fan forums, most locals think the game will be called off if this forecasted overnight snow happens. I took an 8pt hit gamble on the assumption that it will be called off, with both my transfers needing to score 4pts+ to pay off. Both on 1pt at the mo.
