Packed with eight Premier League fixtures, it goes without saying that today is massive for us fantasy managers. First we’re off to back off to Villa Park for Aston Villa’s game against Arsenal, and there is some interesting team news…

Two-time Premier League winner with Arsenal, Robert Pires starts for Aston Villa against his old club. John Carew also makes a comeback to the starting line-up as predicted.

The visitors are of course without their captain Cesc Fabregas, and Robin van Persie still isn’t deemed fit enough to start. Tomas Rosicky comes in, but Theo Walcott only has a place on the bench.

Here are the line-ups in full…

Aston Villa XI: Friedel, Luke Young, Dunne, Collins, Warnock, Ashley Young, Clark, Bannan, Downing, Pires, Carew

Arsenal XI: Fabianski, Sagna, Squillaci, Koscielny, Clichy, Rosicky, Song, Wilshere, Nasri, Chamakh, Arshavin

Then, with no evening fixture, we have seven 3pm games to keep us occupied. Possibly the most highly anticipated game today is Bolton Wanderers Vs. Blackpool. Crazy. Elsewhere, joint-top-of-the-table Manchester United host Blackburn Rovers, West Brom travel to Goodison Park, Fulham face Birmingham City, Roberto Mancini’s Manchester City are at the Britannia Stadium, Wolves host Sunderland and Upton Park sees West Ham and Wigan Athletic battle it out.

It’s going to be manic, but if that’s your thing then come and enter our Dugout Discussion which is now open, and will remain so until those pesky bonus points are handed out.

I think the average score will be big. But you could get a green arrow even if you're lower than it. (Because most people who still have Berbatov are more likely between 1 and 2 million in the world)

Ofcourse I'm aware of that, but you could actually see a performance like this coming if you have been watchin them for last two weeks. Specially agianst rangers midweek there were warning signs in the first 15 mins but then rangers managed to get control with their 5 man defence!

Another poor captain choice. Thanks Kevin Davies.

The leader in my mini league has not changed his team or his lineup for 3 weeks now.

Guess which striker he has, folks.

No, go on have a guess.....

He's had such spawny luck all season that I firmly believe he's going to win the whole thing.

Screw it, QPR beat Cardiff today and are 5 pts clear at the top of the Championship now. Watch Taraabt's winner tonight on The Football League show. It's quality.

To anybody who decided to just transfer him in this week, congrats, it really paid off. Just another odd day in the fantasy world. Although chinmusic makes a good point about Coleman possibly returning-they have Chelsea away next-would you play him anyway?

Whereas, looking at the chalkboards, Elmo got quite a lot of crosses into the box despite only being on 10 minutes-and he has West Ham at home next.

I'd wait and see what Steve Bruce says-he might get a recall, you never know

you obiously havent understood my point above.

Tennis is not a team sport and the players play for themselves not their country (apart from David cup which is a waste of time) Personally I like watching Nadal and Federer play so would support them anytime over Murray, Henman, Rusedski et al.

This is arse-talk. Murray has won many big tournaments. He's very unlucky to have his career coincide with Nadal and Federer who will most likely end up 1 and 2 in the all-time list of slam winners.

I don't dispute that he plays for himself and not GB, only your assertion that he's a pathetic loser. It's complete and utter shite.

+1,You don't even need the stats tbh,in this case they represent an underwhelming representation of his performance today.

+2. His passing was immense but he had a lot of time and space in order to pick his passes. He wasn't really challenged by a poor Blackburn.

Exactly, one of the many things in his game today that stats will fail to show you.

Most members are vertical, but after a few weeks of pathetic scores then horizontal would have been OK for me.

As it stands then I lie prone and disconsolate with the massive red sword of Damocles hanging over my head yet again.
