Now the gameweek begins and just like that the hulking Saturday Surgery regresses into it’s much less fearsome Bruce Bana-esque Dugout Discussion. Come in if you fancy, we’ve certainly got more than enough games to keep you interested.

We kick off with Stoke playing host to Sunderland this afternoon, a war of attrition looking likely. Tony Pulis recalls the likes of Matty Etherington and Long-throw Delap into his team while Steve Bruce looks like he might be following suit at Liverpool by countering Stoke’s aerial threat with three centre-halves. Sulley Muntari also makes his debut. Teams in full are…

Stoke XI: Begovic; Higginbotham, Wilkinson, Huth, Shawcross; Delap, Pennant, Whitehead, Etherington; Jones, Carew.

Sunderland XI: Gordon; Onuoha, Ferdinand, Mensah, Bramble (C), Bardsley; Richardson, Henderson, Muntari, Sessegnon; Gyan.

The heavy dose of Saturday football doesn’t end there as we then head on into six 3pm kick-offs and just about round out my Fantasy Premier League (FPL) gameweek before it even starts with ten of my eleven finished by 5pm – the likes of Man City vs West Brom, Everton vs Blackpool and Newcastle vs Arsenal are high on my agenda, who are you tracking?

Then we have Manchester United rounding us out as they pay visit to Mick McCarthy and his Premier League stragglers. Time to watch through my fingers.

The Dugout Discussion will be open through all eight of today’s games right up until the bonus judges hand out their bounty this evening. Stick with us.

Andy Leicester won the Premier League. Leicester. Premier League. What is this life? Follow them on Twitter

yeah I've just done 2 transfers with players who wont lose any value - certainly wont be trading out players who will lose value until the end of the day at the least

its not looking like there will be many players to make a 0.1 profit from this week

    K wildcard played!

    Szczesny / Harper
Kolarov / Kelly / Vidic / Coleman / BIR Def*
    Adam / Fabregas / Brunt* / Nani / Cahill
    Campbell / RVP* / Odemwingie

    - Still holding onto Hangeland, I need another 0.1 rise from him to get 0.1 extra profit, also waiting on which Brum defender to bring in
    - Still holding onto VDV, need another 0.1 rise as well, will bring in most likely Brunt
    - This is the killer one, Tevez looks almost certain to rise, making another 0.1 profit. But also, I'm hoping RVP doesn't rise tonight
    - Will have around 7.0 of money in the bank so I can build on from GW28 onwards
    - Good luck to everyone else!

        Man Utd will win 4-0

        Vidic 1 goal, 1 bp
        Nani 1 goal, 2 assist, 2 bp
        Rooney 2 goals, 1 assist, 3 bp.

I've only got Walker done for a lazy goal, assist, clean sheet and 3 bonus. Hardly optimistic.

Set my team for next week, I know all week I'll be changing my mind about Fabs and RVP captain, simply because Fabs will probably play both games and RVP may not.

Last time I made a choice like that it was Nani vs Berbatov and I thought Berbatov might not play both games. We all know how that turned out.

Who do people notice are the most supported club on these boards? Obviously there are a ton of Man U fans, and countering them like the yin and yang are all the gooners. A few young and misguided Chelski fans are vocal, and for some reason there seems to be more Leicester fans than I suspected ever existed. The Hammers are well supported too.
Not that many Toon though, and only one or two Mackems just for comedy value.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a saltshaker half-full of cocaine, and a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers... Also, a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether, and two dozen amyls. Not that we needed all that for the trip, but once you get into locked a serious drug collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can. The only thing that really worried me was the ether. There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge, and I knew we'd get into that rotten stuff pretty soon.

I'm not sure Fulham could muster a firm.

I worked with the Villa hardcore lads in the late 90's, they are mentalists, literally no consideration for their self preservation whatsoever. I did't want to mess up my beautiful face so I stayed away (and I'm a coward).

This may not be interesting but in Sweden (and probably in general across Europe) Liverpool and Man United are by far the most popular teams, mainly due to the fact that they were the most televised teams when many of us were young.

Lately I've noticed that Arsenal and Tottenham seem to be gaining lots of fans. I think Arsenal got a heavy boost in their fan base in that CL run where they beat Real, Juve and Villareal. That was a great run.

All - have WC to use this week. Does it make sense to play it today for the team I want to get i ahead of any price rises? I can always change my mind if injury or rotation impacts can't I?

I assume that there will be a fair few wc's played this week all looking to bring in similar players so I would expect their prices to rise, so seems a sensible plan. Is it, or is just bleedin' obvious and I'm a numpty for asking?

P.S. if tortilla.curtain is lurking - I fancy you to stuff me in the PPC!!

It means staying up until past midnight surfing the risers/fallers to make sure you don't miss out on your final targets, but still try and make a profit on other risers.

Rich, i think this is it for me this week. none of main rivals have captained tevez, gone for rooney and nani.

Wolves i need a big favour today, and city, i need you to demolish wba, or else ill go from not REALLY giving a shit anymore to, not even changing my team anymore.

    Carlos, por favor, quatro gooooooooooooooooooooooals.

    thanks

Bye bye Mr Salcido, it felt so good finally getting rid of you!

No need to do it imminently, but Dimitar you may be sacrificed for improvements elsewhere.. Mr Hernandez may be more of a threat when Champs League starts up again.

And I am just confirming, Utd definitely do NOT have a double in 28 correct?
