The last nine gameweeks have seen Fulham string together a series of results that have crept quietly under the radar, as Mark Hughes’ side climb the table after a poor first half to the season. Four wins, four draws and just one defeat in a run of games that has seen them face the likes of Chelsea, Man City and a resurgent Liverpool has allowed two players in particular -Damien Duff and Clint Dempsey- to shine for the Cottagers.

Sparky’s side have scored thirteen goals over those nine games and whilst Fulham’s forward line has contributed a paltry total of three strikes, wide men Duff and Dempsey have helped themselves to eight of those thirteen (four apiece) and are showing little letting up as the team goes from strength to strength.

In this latest article for Members, we take a look at the pair’s key OPTA stats from that run of matches – gameweek 22 through to gameweek 29 to assess the Fantasy scoring potential for the run-in…

Yes - what is up - do you think the cup runs are sapping you? Mind you, I believe that Jerome will start to get you a few goals, at least.

        Go for it.

I have been waiting to bring in Defoe all season. He tends to score in clusters, albeit usually in the first half of the season. He found his finishing touch against wolves and will be well up for the West Ham gam (old club syndrome) and will have been disappointed not to have played against AC.

    Alreet lads

I asked on an earlier post who I should drop out of Fabs, Nasri, Nani, VDV and Young in order to get Lampard in for GW32. I said i'm leaning towards Nani, because he has the most difficult fixtures. Some posters seemed to think I was insane! I didn't say they were difficult fixtures, but compare with the others:

Nani: blank (injured), whm, FUL, new, EVE (4 games)
Fabs & Nasri: wba, BLA, blp, LIV/tot, bol (6 games)
VDV: WHM, wig, STK, mcy/ARS, WBA (6 games)
Young: WOL, eve, NEW, whm, STK (5 games)NB then has wba, WIG while Nani has ars, CHE.

Add the fact that it may well take Nani some time to get back to his top form, I think that he is the one that has to go.

    Am I really insane?

For what it's worth, I'm planning on losing Nani to then afford Lampard in a couple of weeks time. Although if Utd-Arsenal is a draw today then I'd definitely keep Nani for the future double, caused by the postponement.

I'd lose either Nani or Young - who will presumably now be off penalties.

Not really. Contemplating it myself. I think there is a good chance Frank will outscore Nani over the period.

My issue is who to downgrade Tevez to, to raise the cash. Bent, Defoe, Carroll, Welbeck?

Yeah he's had an off day today. still some absolute peaches of deliveries though. i think the wicket is very good for batting, his figures in relation to all the other bowlers is still good.

Gunna swap Tevez for RvP after he's merked chelsea again.

RvP, Rooney, Carroll forward line ftw.

You not keeping the Orc for the Sunderland game after Chelsea?

It's all about Gyan/welbeck anyways. Sunderland's fixtures are ridiculous!

Aye, i'd like Welbeck just to annoy Mfaulk! Week 32 onwards for him.

Prefer RvP at home to BLA rather than City to Sunderland. Sunderland can be dangerous away from home where as BLA can just dish out chicken buckets.

i am, i think his value is excellent for what he can produce. I'll wait til he's fully fit though, probably next gameweek like you say.
