The last nine gameweeks have seen Fulham string together a series of results that have crept quietly under the radar, as Mark Hughes’ side climb the table after a poor first half to the season. Four wins, four draws and just one defeat in a run of games that has seen them face the likes of Chelsea, Man City and a resurgent Liverpool has allowed two players in particular -Damien Duff and Clint Dempsey- to shine for the Cottagers.

Sparky’s side have scored thirteen goals over those nine games and whilst Fulham’s forward line has contributed a paltry total of three strikes, wide men Duff and Dempsey have helped themselves to eight of those thirteen (four apiece) and are showing little letting up as the team goes from strength to strength.

        i dont play the fantasy game sorry lol although i reckon that having a bowler of the stronger team is a much more sure shot way to fantasy points than having a batsman, when they're playing a weaker opposition.

        Indeed. probably because Hernandez is effective deep and high, so him and Rooney can rotate a bit, causing the defenders more problems. Whereas Berb is hopeless deep imo.

          Im a fan of Hernandez but that point is way off the mark

          He offers nothing coming short and is excellent in behind.

          Berbatov is one of the best players coming short aswell as his more obvious figure head role this season. Really need to pay more attention SuperAnd.

            Nonsense, the game we beat Wigan at OT hernandez played deep and excelled, making late runs into the box etc. He's done it more than then as well.

              Im not saying he doesnt come short every player has to be able to, But he isnt good at it and offers next to nothing bar keeping moves in motion.
              He doesnt offer much of a killer pass etc , he is nothign like this type of player

              Berbatov came on remember against City, And played short with Rooney uptop where he got the Winner, Watch Berbatov there the last time he played short or anytime during the season where he comes short to create - Blackburn at home comes to mind where he creates and then switches to finish

              There are even articles on Berbatov playing short and how excellent he is at it. Numerous amounts

              Hernandez is a penalty box player and an excellent one at that and not much else currenlty.To say he is better than Berbatov or anywhere near him outside the box is akin to comparing Bebe to George best for wing play. Hernandez offers little more than simple lay offs and continuing moves outside the box. Nothing dangerous. Give me one thing he has done this season when playing short....

              And wigan at home as an example? Yes he can come short im not saying he didnt
              And this is abit odd since he only played less than 30min.

                Maybe Berbatov is better than Hernandez at coming short, but he can hardly play the killer ball either. And it's nothing like comparing those two, don't be naiive.

                Could even be two out and out strikers.. who knows....

    Can someone help please. I'm about to play my wildcard (can't believe I held onto it). Might do it this week, but would like to wait a gameweek and get my team sorted after the international break. But the team I'm looking at leaves me with only 0.1 in the bank so money is very tight. Hence constant checking of fantasytools to see price rises/falls.

    Two questions re the red/yellow flags. I thought that once a player was injured/doubtful, the prices no longer changed. But according to fantasytools, Nani was red flagged yesterday. Yet his price still dropped this morning. Any reason why?

    Secondly how come some players who are on the rise are flagged? There are a couple who are over 100% toward a price rise (Adam, Bale) but it still has them as protected. FPL has taken their 'doubtful status' off... so when will the price rise and why hasn't it done so already?
