The last nine gameweeks have seen Fulham string together a series of results that have crept quietly under the radar, as Mark Hughes’ side climb the table after a poor first half to the season. Four wins, four draws and just one defeat in a run of games that has seen them face the likes of Chelsea, Man City and a resurgent Liverpool has allowed two players in particular -Damien Duff and Clint Dempsey- to shine for the Cottagers.

Sparky’s side have scored thirteen goals over those nine games and whilst Fulham’s forward line has contributed a paltry total of three strikes, wide men Duff and Dempsey have helped themselves to eight of those thirteen (four apiece) and are showing little letting up as the team goes from strength to strength.

In this latest article for Members, we take a look at the pair’s key OPTA stats from that run of matches – gameweek 22 through to gameweek 29 to assess the Fantasy scoring potential for the run-in…

Last year I sold Tevez before the Che game and he went crazy with 2 goals and 3 BP. The final score was 2:4 I think with Lamps also banging 2 goals. Now I have those 2 and considering RVP for Tevez. Mistake or right decision. The problem is also 0.5 loss and I will want Tevez again this season surely.

(UK, slang) To refrain from doing something at the last moment because of a sudden loss of courage.

That would be Arsenal in every Cup and League competition for the past five years.

*apart from the times they're knocked out well before "the last moment"*

What exactly have they refrained from doing here.

They have actually played today for once at OT.

          But anyway explain the bottling.

Bottling would be going to OT not playing, no shots on target and not even having a go cos they were scared like times before. ie Shirking the challenge cos they were up for it.

So if VDS doesnt make an amazing save ?what you still say bottling.

I just wanted to make that joke.

Arsenal just have a soft underbelly that always gets exposed. Eventually.

They've got the bottlers tag because on their day they are the best team in the country but, like I say, they always come undone.

a team that "bottles it" is a team that gives up or does not try, you could never say that about this arsenal team.

like i have said in previous posts, arsenal have too many players of an age (19-25) were inconsistancy is apart of their game.

VDS had won and proved everything , Lennox Lewis had questions regarding his final win, if it was fair and if that he should offer a rematch , he didnt which many speculated was cos he knew there was a fair chance he would lose.

LOL! Sorry to Arsenal fans on here, but 3 competitions (basically), in 3 weeks that you are out of. If your players weren't actually made of glass then you would stand a great chance of winning something. But, the way I see it, you are now (basically) out of two competitions that Man U are still in, so they are distracted. PL is there for the taking.

Right now, in these situations, you need another way of playing IMO, its great playing football like this when you are 1 or 2-0 up, but when your chasing a lead, unless you can do it like Barcelona, which, unfortunately you can't, then you need a more route 1 style, or a different formation to play. The way I see it, you haven't, had Your best front 4 playing all season either. I.E

        Nasri RVP Walcott
        Fabregas

Take West Ham for example, for the first time this season we have had a fully fit squad, and look where it has got us. And I'm not just talking Der Hammer here. Our Back 4 and up top as well.
