The breeze from the doors closing on the Saturday Surgery can still be felt on Fantasy Manager’s faces as the Dugout Dicussion opens up for another full day of football action.

The local derby of Sunderland hosting Newcastle kicks off at noon at the request of their police forces.

This starts off the six games we have to look forward to, across four different kick-off times, in total today. As the half time oranges start getting handed out at the Stadium of Light we’ll then see Arsenal and Liverpool kick off affairs in front of the television cameras.

A trio of three o’clock kick-offs join the deluge of Football League fixtures before Chelsea round out the day at home to West Brom as poll topper Fernando Torres will either make or spoil many weekend’s – looks like Saturday night Shandy’s will be in order whatever the result.

The Dugout Discussion stays through all the action as we take in our first proper and fully functioning (fingers crossed!) gameweek.

        me: i did, and i don’t disagree that he kept walcott (mostly) quiet. but he didn’t look good going forward, in fact he pushed up the field far less than last week, perhaps that’s to be expected going up arsenal away from home. but certainly not the top player on the pitch. lucas or suarez should get that.

        Thanks for the morale support. I captain Torres here. Just blame my misjudgement. As I already play Kompany, I bench Hart. Besides playing Mignolet at home against Newcastle I believe is a good move but end up otherwise.

    has anyone else already recieved bonus points? When I total the points from theplayers on my team that have played so far manually I come up with 16 pts... Jose enrique(6), Moses(2), Suarez(5), Sinclair(3). yet it says 20 pts for my gameweek total. I was wondering has anybody else discovered this? perhaps the bonus points were added early accidentally?

      It's probably the Chelsea players you have and their starting scores just aren't showing under their names on the teamsheet atm- mine's similar.

      Yeah, my Chelsea players have their points added to my total, but it they aren't listed under their jersey's on the FPL pitch.
