There’s not one, but two lunchtime kick-offs in the Premier League today, and the Dugout Discussion chatroom is open and ready for a full day of football. We start at Villa Park in a matter of minutes, whilst the game at the DW Stadium is set to go at half past.

Once the dust has settled from Adel Taarabt announcing himself to the Premier League and Darren Bent scoring the first hattrick of the season, we have a somewhat meagre offering of just three 3 p.m. fixtures…

Blackburn and Everton do battle at Ewood Park, each side desperate for their first league point of the campaign. Swansea host Sunderland, who will both fancy their chances of earning a first win of the season. And then there’s Fernando Torres, with his belligerent of fantasy owners, all praying he finally nets today at home to the Canaries.

Finally, we’ll be off to Torres’ old stomping ground Anfield, where Liverpool and Bolton meet in today’s evening game.

    Anyone else notice that the FPL site can't add up today? Maths not my strongest point, but it seems to be adding 1 or 2 points to everyone's provisional totals in a charitable baker's dozen style.

      People keep making this mistake. As soon as Barclays Live Score posts the teams, all your players that are starting get there points added to your total, it just doesnt show up under your players name until the game starts.

    Gonna have to go without Suarez till GW6. His price could skyrocket but they're tough enough fixtures I don't really mind. A quiet game from him today would be a huge bonus.

    Ok so a bit of advice if anyone cares to give an opinion...

    I've had a good start, 124 before today and I look good to keep up my 60+ average.

    However, virtually my entire squad is away from home next week and I also think building squad value early doors is vital to a good season. I have two frees for next week.

    So with that in mind, should I wildcard today in order to jump on some of the price rises (potentially picking up a couple of doubles) and tinker with my squad until the next gameweek to build on my good start, or am I being a bit stupid and actually it would be far better to simply make a couple of changes, live with a tough week next week and keep the wildcard in the bag for when it's really needed?

    Any thoughts? (If anyone has actually read all that!)

    In a fit of rage, I decided to use my WC and made 11 transfers. Unfortunately, I clicked on "Confirm Transfers" instead of "Play Wildcard". Now I've taken a -38 point hit. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. I've emailed FF. Anything I can do? 🙁
