There’s not one, but two lunchtime kick-offs in the Premier League today, and the Dugout Discussion chatroom is open and ready for a full day of football. We start at Villa Park in a matter of minutes, whilst the game at the DW Stadium is set to go at half past.

Once the dust has settled from Adel Taarabt announcing himself to the Premier League and Darren Bent scoring the first hattrick of the season, we have a somewhat meagre offering of just three 3 p.m. fixtures…

Blackburn and Everton do battle at Ewood Park, each side desperate for their first league point of the campaign. Swansea host Sunderland, who will both fancy their chances of earning a first win of the season. And then there’s Fernando Torres, with his belligerent of fantasy owners, all praying he finally nets today at home to the Canaries.

Finally, we’ll be off to Torres’ old stomping ground Anfield, where Liverpool and Bolton meet in today’s evening game.

    N'Zogbia off - bit more sprightly today but he hasn't got going for Villa yet.

    Jarvis has nabbed me 3 points - wouldn't mind Wolves scoring now. Given & Warnock on my bench.

    In fairness I dont think picking Nzog was the problem. Ill maintain it was the right call. plenty of possesion/chances over the last 3 games but a mixture of selfishness/ poor choice and bad shooting has let him down. At least I can justify taking him out now.

    Bent is another story.
    I firmly believe if Ireland played in a team with Bent, the latter would clean up.
