Manchester United have just joined Edin Dzeko in turning Gameweek three upside down.

In 90 minutes of football, United simply blitzed a bewildered Arsenal, ravaged by injury and suspension, ill-equipped and unprepared for the waves of United attacks and individual brilliance thrown at them.

For Fantasy owners of Wayne Rooney and Ashley Young, United’s 8-2 win has brought a rare bounty of points that will have transformed their Gameweek scoring. Three goals and an assist from Rooney, a brace and and three assists from Young, the returns are beyond our wildest expectations and the stuff of nightmares for Arsenal fans and their beleaguered manager who could only watch on while their inexperienced and shell-shocked side were dismantled. Those Fantasy managers without the United pair are unlikely to feel much better – mini-leagues have been turned on their head by today’s events.

This afternoon will have a major impact on the Fantasy Premier League game with Young and Rooney now inevitably set to enjoy huge investment during the international break. Prices will rise, Wildcards will flutter – an extraordinary end to our Fantasy Gameweek.

  Bent and Carroll were two of the best forwards in the games last season. So they didn't have great games yesterday but don't panic.
  
  O'Hara has been good but Jarvis stealing his limelight. Sinclair and Moses have both been unlucky to not have more points than they have so far. Only a matter of time.
  
  Swap Cashley for Boswinga as they offer the same going forward and Boswinga is nailed on to start.
  
  Get rid of Torress for Dzeko or Rooney but don't panic about getting last weeks game points.

Yet again another rant from me after last week. FFS proving to be totally shit again at picking a captain - Suarez led the voting and Roony was 4th.... seems like the voters on here have no idea and neither to the scout pick teams actually this was the same thing last season so dont know why Im complaining... maybe the 11.29am captain change to suarez that pissing me off

    Don't agree....20% went for Suarez vs Bolton, 15% went for Rooney vs Arsenal. Even with Rooney you're talking about over 900 voters who were right - that's not an insignificant number of voters. We had both in the Picks - they were both very strong options - there were a couple of hundred votes in it in the poll.
    
    Nobody could have possibly predicted what happened today and Rooney's free-kicks were sublime - when will he produce two like that in one match again? Suarez was superb again and got nothing out of the match - I captained Suarez - Granville captained Rooney. It could have gone the other way, It didn't. I've got to just suck it up and move on - one of those things.

      Well said Mark, cant blame you for the scout picks or the captain picks - you offer hints and sometimes they work sometimes they don't - football is a game of opinions.Today mine were well off!!!
      Suarez was my captain - would I change him - on hindsight yes - but even watching the Liverpool game I was convinced I got my choice right (for once) like you say he couldve had a shed load of points.

I make it that I have 106 points for the season so far from 3 weeks, but pre-bonus for GW3. Anyone doing worse? Some people that started 2 weeks late will be ahead of me.

106 points from 36 players is 2.94 points per player.

My bench has scored 57 points from 12 players, 4.75 points per player.

Bloody bad management. Played Wildcard last week, got what I thought was a good team together, alas no Rooney. Rival has him Captain!!! Feel must get Roo in just to keep up with the masses. That will not help me as need differentials to get back. Sadly Downing, Enrique, Bent, Baines not doing the business. Only 1 transfer this week. At a loss what to do, apart from pray!

    I was trying to stick to my plan, had a 4 week plan and did not use the free wildcard. Whats the bloody point of planning your team for weeks pre season then throwing it im the bin GW 2 with unexpected free's?
    
    Rival used his GW2 free wildcard and got lots of scoring players in, Silva, Bosingwa, Jarvis. I felt I had to respond.
