Manchester United have just joined Edin Dzeko in turning Gameweek three upside down.

In 90 minutes of football, United simply blitzed a bewildered Arsenal, ravaged by injury and suspension, ill-equipped and unprepared for the waves of United attacks and individual brilliance thrown at them.

For Fantasy owners of Wayne Rooney and Ashley Young, United’s 8-2 win has brought a rare bounty of points that will have transformed their Gameweek scoring. Three goals and an assist from Rooney, a brace and and three assists from Young, the returns are beyond our wildest expectations and the stuff of nightmares for Arsenal fans and their beleaguered manager who could only watch on while their inexperienced and shell-shocked side were dismantled. Those Fantasy managers without the United pair are unlikely to feel much better – mini-leagues have been turned on their head by today’s events.

This afternoon will have a major impact on the Fantasy Premier League game with Young and Rooney now inevitably set to enjoy huge investment during the international break. Prices will rise, Wildcards will flutter – an extraordinary end to our Fantasy Gameweek.

    I find the extra delay in waiting for bonus points really rather annoying

    I dont understand, now they're based on stats run through an algorithm they should be calculatable almost immediately after the game's finished?

    How can it possibly be slower than getting the guys in the stands to have a think about it and text their scores in or whatever?

        Well, none, exactly (as stupid as that sounds). I'm just getting sucked in by Man City v Wigan (was going to have Dzeko, Silva AND Nasri for a few weeks to see which to keep out of Silva/Nasri) and Arsenal v Swansea (RVP and Walcott) with a beefed up defence.

        Time for many many re-thinks.

    . We would both like the following advice:

    Current strikeforce: Torres, Bent, Long (1.3M in the bank)
    Should we do:
    1. Torres to Dzeko (no hit)
    2. Torres to Dzeko and Bent to Rooney (4 point hit)
    3. Torres to Dzeko and N’Zog to A.Young (4 point hit)
    4. All 3 for a 8 point hit (if I have the money – not sure as I can’t access the site to check)

    Things I hate right now:

    1) Not being able to log in and check my score at end of the game week
    2) Still my mini league isn't right scores wise
    3) The fact that this thing takes hours to update
    4) The day delay on bonus points coming in, totally unjustifiable
    5) Ppl who did well on week1 in restarted leagues having a whinge

    Are our main men on the case, feeding this back? Is the intention that they speed the whole thing up so we get everything within a couple of hours of the final whistle? Not a prpoblem if they need to correct errors in assist allocation etc as long as we know. Perhaps an email could be sent out stating where corrections were made.

    'Swansea's defender Alan Tate has broken a leg in what the club have described as a "bizarre golfing accident".
