Manchester United have just joined Edin Dzeko in turning Gameweek three upside down.

In 90 minutes of football, United simply blitzed a bewildered Arsenal, ravaged by injury and suspension, ill-equipped and unprepared for the waves of United attacks and individual brilliance thrown at them.

For Fantasy owners of Wayne Rooney and Ashley Young, United’s 8-2 win has brought a rare bounty of points that will have transformed their Gameweek scoring. Three goals and an assist from Rooney, a brace and and three assists from Young, the returns are beyond our wildest expectations and the stuff of nightmares for Arsenal fans and their beleaguered manager who could only watch on while their inexperienced and shell-shocked side were dismantled. Those Fantasy managers without the United pair are unlikely to feel much better – mini-leagues have been turned on their head by today’s events.

This afternoon will have a major impact on the Fantasy Premier League game with Young and Rooney now inevitably set to enjoy huge investment during the international break. Prices will rise, Wildcards will flutter – an extraordinary end to our Fantasy Gameweek.

    Need some help deciding to play my WC.

    Current team:

    Given Vorm

    A. Cole Gabbidon Brown Simpson Kompany

    Zog Lampard Silva Moses Sess

    Odem Zamora Suarez

    I have 2 transfers saved up and I definitely want to do Cole to Bowingwa, shift Zamora and Zog and maybe try to get RVP in (maybe after downgrading Lampard).

    I'm not so sure about getting Dzeko and Young in as I don't think they will play every leagye game over the next 6 game weeks with other competitions forcing rotation.

    Do you guys think it's worth playing my wildcard and making a bit of money and then making 5 or so changes? I don't know whether to save it until the next international break when we will know even more about Dzeko/Young's security and get a better gaugue of their long-term form.

      Aye. Still tempted to include him in wildcard team, just for the next couple of games (AVL WIG). He may not have penalties anymore, but he still takes a lot of set pieces, gets forward shitloads and is a bonus darling.

        I'm going to stick for their two home games and then re-assess.

        He is mighty expensive if he's not on pens, but as you say he should still get plenty of attacking points/bonus so may still be worth it.

    I had next to no City or United coverage yesterday and as a result my team has dropped to 2nd bottom of my 'main' league. In a classic knee-jerk, Ive changed my team to the below, any thoughts on how I could improve it?

    Can someone please explain how the players' valuations work? I.e. the changes...

    I know that they go up and down depending on how many people have got them, but:

    1) when are the valuations changed?
    2) are the valuations updated ONLY at the deadline of each gameweek? or are they updated all the time?

    e.g. Dzeko's value will surely shoot up, but is it going to do so over the next two weeks, or ONLY at the deadline for gameweek 4?

      Can be changed every day but only once and only by .1m per day. No pattern has emerged yet as to what time they happen yet, usually early morn but due to site being down we may get some this morning.
