Manchester United have just joined Edin Dzeko in turning Gameweek three upside down.

In 90 minutes of football, United simply blitzed a bewildered Arsenal, ravaged by injury and suspension, ill-equipped and unprepared for the waves of United attacks and individual brilliance thrown at them.

For Fantasy owners of Wayne Rooney and Ashley Young, United’s 8-2 win has brought a rare bounty of points that will have transformed their Gameweek scoring. Three goals and an assist from Rooney, a brace and and three assists from Young, the returns are beyond our wildest expectations and the stuff of nightmares for Arsenal fans and their beleaguered manager who could only watch on while their inexperienced and shell-shocked side were dismantled. Those Fantasy managers without the United pair are unlikely to feel much better – mini-leagues have been turned on their head by today’s events.

This afternoon will have a major impact on the Fantasy Premier League game with Young and Rooney now inevitably set to enjoy huge investment during the international break. Prices will rise, Wildcards will flutter – an extraordinary end to our Fantasy Gameweek.

Now that the site is working, I alredy did 3 transfer for a 4 pts hit : Torres out for Dzeko, Graham+VDV out for Rooney+Petrov still holding on to Nani as I want to wait and see if I really want to transfer him out or if there's any emergency after the break. Just wonder if I were to make 4 transfer for -8pts , do I keep my wc and take a hit or just use?

  We'll know by Thursday morning. There are a few rumours, admittedly from highly unreliable sources, that Chelsea are closing to sign Gregory van der Wiel for something ridiculous like €32m! If that does happen, then he'll obvious take Bosingwa's spot at RB.

      Yes, he's been in good form so far, but he's still not a very good player, as has been proven time and time again over the past couple of seasons.

    Yes, the transfer negotiations with TSG Hoffenheim for their Bosnian striker Vedad Ibišević have indicated that there's either something odd or very incompetent going on at Blackburn.
    
    Blackburn have been ploughing ahead with a €6 million transfer despite the fact that Ibišević has been out all season so far with muscle bundle tear and wouldn't pass a medical. They didn't even work out that Ibišević would need a visa to come over for a medical, thus adding another two days to the process.
    
    Now, from what German sources are reporting, figures in the Blackburn hierarchy above Steve Kean's head have pulled out of the deal. Curious.

        The result? HSV are now bottom of the table with 1 point from 4 games after a comical 4-3 home defeat on Saturday to the truly useless 1.FC Cologne. Arnesen has since indicated that he wants to buy a forward, so I guess now's the chance for Chelsea to offload Torres...

        Bruma and Mancienne both played in defence up to the last match, a 5-0 hammering by Bayern Munich, but were so spineless that they both got dropped at the weekend. See for yourself why:

Don't know whether to play my Wildcard!

I reckon I would realistically be .7m off (taking into account players I have dropping and a few who I think will rise by .2m).

At the moment I'm only looking at 5 players being different from my current team at the GW4 deadline.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

  I kept hold of the "easy fixture for Torres he's bound to hit 3 in this week" theory for long enough...lack of action getting onto the form players sooner has cost me big time and coming back from such a poor start will take every last bit of my free time so on that note...get rid now...who cares if he scores next gameweek...the form of certain players suggest more than luck on their side...this will last a little while longer I reckon and Torres good be lucky in a game but has shown no real threat (only nice little moments)...and that is the problem...

So I've made 7 transfers before the site crashed last night (on my phone) and wasn't able to activate the WC option...now that the site is up it seems to be still available to me but no points deduction noted for all those transfers...anyone else experience this?

I guess it would be crazy to think they won't "charge" those early transfers to my "account" right? I'm a little hesitant to activate it now...

    That's insane cos surely him along with Rooney, Young and all those would have gone up...it's an absolute joke how this has been handled and the distraction (as well as the crashes and such) has frustrated the crap out of me...
    
    It also doesn't help that some three year old wrote the script for the start of the season...rotation failing, big players failing...oh well...

  The new bonus system mainly goes off - Winning, Goals, Assists, Shots on target, Key passes and Clean sheets; points are subtracted for shots off target. Unfortunately this means Suarez was never in for baps even though he 'ran the show'.

      It's a pretty simple system but will create a certain amount of frustration when this happens. Put basically though if he doesn't assist or score he'll struggle to get anything.
      
      On the plus side you won't have Adam syndrome this season with some Fantasy Darling hogging all bps for no decent reason.

    That's balls too!!!! Cos even when you judge shots off goal...surely a ball skimming a post is more "accurate" than a shot in row Z...meaning that when it comes to the bare bones of it all...crunching numbers, although removing the human error from the system, has in fact torn out the human element in the game all together...
    
    Over dramatic but it's all I've got after these gameweeks...

      That's just the way the new system works, no subjective human interference. Basically 5 shots which bounce off the post will be judged worse than 5 shots straight at the keeper.
