Manchester United have just joined Edin Dzeko in turning Gameweek three upside down.

In 90 minutes of football, United simply blitzed a bewildered Arsenal, ravaged by injury and suspension, ill-equipped and unprepared for the waves of United attacks and individual brilliance thrown at them.

For Fantasy owners of Wayne Rooney and Ashley Young, United’s 8-2 win has brought a rare bounty of points that will have transformed their Gameweek scoring. Three goals and an assist from Rooney, a brace and and three assists from Young, the returns are beyond our wildest expectations and the stuff of nightmares for Arsenal fans and their beleaguered manager who could only watch on while their inexperienced and shell-shocked side were dismantled. Those Fantasy managers without the United pair are unlikely to feel much better – mini-leagues have been turned on their head by today’s events.

This afternoon will have a major impact on the Fantasy Premier League game with Young and Rooney now inevitably set to enjoy huge investment during the international break. Prices will rise, Wildcards will flutter – an extraordinary end to our Fantasy Gameweek.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Want to make 4 changes to get dzecko, Suarez and a decent mid (Nasri or Walcott).

    Wildcard or 8 point hit?

8 point hit. Wildcard's for lots of transfers; more international breaks and big changes in form and fixtures to come.

    GW3 team (after WC)

    Vorm
    Bos/Enrique/S Taylor
    Mata/Arteta/Silva/Cleverly
    Rooney/Aguero (C)/Suarez

Bit annoyed that cleverly and silva achieved nothing from 13 goals, but I still think they're must haves for future GWs. Save European injuries & captain choice I think it's a decent team for the next 2/3 GWs.

          m'villa and/or hazard in midfield

forgot about odemwingie signing a new contract. That's that deal gone I guess.

They need a proper striker though, someone who is going to be ruthless and finish all those stupid passing moves.

I'd be surprised if one of Cahill and Jagielka isn't at the club by Wednesday. Wenger's confident in getting M'Vila too.

Apparently we want Hazard but we're leaving it awfully late.

I'm not sure how much impact that deal will have. it's very small scale compared to the Hazard one.

It was Park's behaviour that pissed off Lille more than anything, and I believe they now want Joel Campbell on loan, so he could be a peace offering of sorts.

If Arsene had any sense he should spend money on Leighton Baines and Gary Cahill + 1 or 2 midfielders and another striker! IMO
A back four of Baines Vermaelon Cahill Sagna

      1. Buy Cahill, if not, buy Jagielka. Everton are desperate for cash.
      2. Buy forward, Bendtner likely to leave and three forwards is already pretty lean. Although Wenger has said he planned on doing so.
      3. Take out loans on unwanted players with experience for midfield that are not injury prone. He doesn't want to buy? Fine, but he needs depth. He should not be reaching into the reserve pool for holding midfielders against Man U. He needs another winger as well. This Park-Chung Young guy apparently plays CM.

someone talk me out of doing torres to dzeko tonight:(.. huge risk makin a transfer early right
      Pros
Dzeko will be 8.7 and torres 10.8.. that’s 0.4-0.5 lost..
I want to do torres to dzeko for gw 4 for sure.. so even if someone else gets injured i’ll be takin a 4 point hit to get dzeko at the end of this week
      cons

Players aren't supposed to get injured. It's a percentage play in your favor. If you want Dzeko for sure and wait, his price will 100% go up and you lose value. Best case scenario is he gets injured and you get to choose someone else.

If you make the transfer, then chances are higher that he'll return from international duty fit and you gain the value. Worst case scenario is obviously an injury, but like I said, players aren't supposed to get injured, and Dzeko has a good injury record too.

Kieth, make the transfer - it's 8.5 million (and rising rapid) striker with 6 goals to his name, playing well and on form, for a team flying high, versus a 11.0 million (and dropping fast) striker who hasn't scored in god knows how long, and doesn't look like he will. I had Bent (v), Suarez (c) adn dzeko this week as my strike force, and I'm nearly considering a wildard to get the following front 8 - NASRI, silva (i have already), YOUNG, MATA, ferguson (4 million and i have for funds), ROONEY, suarez (i have), dzeko (i have). I have cole, kompany and baines, and now i need rid of them as not bringing in the clean sheets for 21.5 million between the three of them - money for my midfield and strikers

      Guys, squad is as follows:

      Hilario,Vorm
      Ward,Brown,Bosingwa,Kompany,Simpson
      Sinclair,Moses,Lampard,Sessignon,Toure
      Bent,Rooney,Saha.

Its done ok for me and, although i want rid of the likes of Saha and Toure, im not sure if its worth a WC, especially as i have two free transfers.

However, im fairly new to this and im reading quite a lot on here about taking advantage of WC to catch price rises, should i use mine?

There'll be a second international break coming up in a couple of GWs time if you're wanting price rises, if you have two free transfers I wouldn't wildcard as your team looks alright except Saha. 😛

      Any wiseones around?
My forwardline is rooney, dzeko and suarez. I also have silva.
Now thinking to upgrade nzogbia to young or walcott.

What do you think, is it too much to have 4/5 attacking power from manchester and none from london leather boys - chelsea or arsenal?

If I choose young now, I can alway change him to mata if needed in gw6.

      Comments, anyone?

        I'd leave Arsenal players alone.

Right now they're a mid table team at best and their confidence will be in tatters after what Utd did to them today.

Young look like he has already developed a great partnership with Rooney so I'd get him in instead.

        Thinking about him myself now.

Misunderstanding again, I have dzeko now because I just changed mr torres to him.

Btw my captains this year so far carroll, torres and suarez.
          Nothing to brag about.

          Any comments to that question..

I feel like Nasri has done to City what Young did to United. Nani and Silva will become less productive FPLwise. Should I wait another week to make the switch of Silva > Nasri?

If I was Wenger (and yes, I know I'm not and I know I'm not better than him), I'd sign...
Parker - good squad player, cheap enough, reasonably experienced, great leader.

Hazard - better than all of their wingers, and would allow for Walcott to be used as a sub striker.

Martin - Cheap enough again, versatile, creative, and is very good.

And a centre back, even Cahill if all comes to all.

Realistically I think they'll sign M'Vila and a centre back.
