There’s nothing like the smell of a Derby in the morning.

The Dugout Discussion now opens as Everton play host to Liverpool in our early kick-off and with a bang things shall begin, one doth imagine.

Louis Saha finally returns to the Everton team as he replaces Phil Neville in the only changes for the hosts while the short-haul visitors also make a solitary change with Dirk Kuyt coming in for Jordan Henderson. Teams in full are…

Liverpool XI: Reina; Kelly, Carragher, Skrtel, Enrique; Kuyt, Lucas, Adam, Downing; Carroll, Suarez

The five remaining three o’clock fixtures, while not on quite the same level locally, promise just as much interest for the Fantasy Managers looking to snap up some big scores before another international break.

Eyes will then be firmly planted on the likes Nani and Wayne Rooney (at home to Norwich), David Silva and Sergio Aguero (visiting wayward Blackburn) and a feast of players from Barry Bannan to Steven Taylor as things wrap up a little earlier for Fantasy Managers today.

Unless, of course, you have a hankering for some punishment and decide another derby (Leicester visiting Derby, in fact). The 124 Fantasy Managers in our Texaco Fantasy Championship Scout League may be just mad enough. And me, the Leicester fan.

    Rather low scoring week, but same goes with my rival and H2H opponent...29 with Vorm, Bosingwa, SWP, Petrov, and Drogba to play.

    Up 6 and will remain on top if Arteta and Adebayor don't go crazy. Swansea have to score on Stoke!

    Aguero (C) very disappointing...

    My concerns are that I have Young and Richards who didn't play, Dzeko only came on for 3 minutes and Bent will play against Man City next GW. Who should I transfer out? I have 2 free transfers

      Mata goal & Chelsea CS, likely but wouldn't rely on it after conceding 1 vs. Norwich & WBA at home and late to Swansea & Sunderland. Though if Klasnic is still out, don't fancy Bolton scoring tbh.

      More likely than N.Dyer not playing so I can get Enrique up to top of my bench. Stupidly assumed the Merseyside derby would be a goal fest.

      Swansea-Stoke could well be 0-0. And Bolton are bottom of the league. So yes.

    My first knee jerk of the year... Rooney(C)+Sess to Nani+Ade. I honestly like the look of my team much more now, but Ade needs to get 9 points tomorrow to make it a good swap (for this GW).

    Either way, having Sess in my team was really really bothering me.

    nice gw for me at last. 50 with dyer, bos and arteta to play - brown coming off bench. hoping for some baps for rooney, agbon (dead cert) and perhaps suarez/silva?

    anyway looking forward to next week, horrible rotation issues what with agbon against city & roonpig & jones vs suarez

    38 points with Bosingwa, Petrov, Adebayor and Sinclair left to play - not too bad.....although need to use my 2 free transfers to get out 2 of these : Richards, Dzeko, Young, Bent(against Man City). Any ideas?

        Depends, to a certain extent, who your six are.

    Succssesfull GW. It would be perfect if Dzeko didn't come in and New kept that CS. I don't get it this year I had plenty of CS's lost in the 90min.

    And looks like Gabby is gonna have wonderful season, FPL constant player like previous years. Last year was one of a kind.

        finally after steadying my team i have got a high score for my patience.. 50 with shawcross, bosingwa, murphy, adebyaor and van persie to play. plus never made any transfers so two free after internationals. this is why its worth it. get in.
