There’s nothing like the smell of a Derby in the morning.

The Dugout Discussion now opens as Everton play host to Liverpool in our early kick-off and with a bang things shall begin, one doth imagine.

Louis Saha finally returns to the Everton team as he replaces Phil Neville in the only changes for the hosts while the short-haul visitors also make a solitary change with Dirk Kuyt coming in for Jordan Henderson. Teams in full are…

Liverpool XI: Reina; Kelly, Carragher, Skrtel, Enrique; Kuyt, Lucas, Adam, Downing; Carroll, Suarez

The five remaining three o’clock fixtures, while not on quite the same level locally, promise just as much interest for the Fantasy Managers looking to snap up some big scores before another international break.

Eyes will then be firmly planted on the likes Nani and Wayne Rooney (at home to Norwich), David Silva and Sergio Aguero (visiting wayward Blackburn) and a feast of players from Barry Bannan to Steven Taylor as things wrap up a little earlier for Fantasy Managers today.

Unless, of course, you have a hankering for some punishment and decide another derby (Leicester visiting Derby, in fact). The 124 Fantasy Managers in our Texaco Fantasy Championship Scout League may be just mad enough. And me, the Leicester fan.

    Dear God, I used my phone to sort my team this morning and only seeing now that it changed captain to Larson(SUN) when I thought I had selected Nani. Will know in 45 minutes if that was a good or bad omen. From all the choices I had for the armband I would never have knowing selected that.....watch this space~!

    Having your captain get injured early (I seem to have this happen far more than anyone else down the years) is so much worse than them not playing.

    Wishing for some sort of no way viably constructable vice-captaincy that accounts for this poor fortune.

      He seems to be (after Cech and Terry) the most 'rotation-proof' player at Chelsea. There's a chance but it's very very slim. I'd say Cashley is more likely to get rested.

    Enrique, Suarez & Cabaye are giving me 2nd highest GW scores in our league so far (most are enjoying about Aguero & Dzeko related problems).

    I was almost going to downgrade my df (Kompany->ca.4.0m) and going to get Suarez->Aguero with 4 point hit, but now going to wait.

    If just Wolves could score 1 goal. My H2H opponent has 2xTaylor & Krul on field, 3x clean sheet would be annoying.

    Why I even bother planning transfers. I was all set to get shwx tonight before his price rice, but now I have to wait next two weeks to get some info on aguero injury!

    They will propably put yellow flag for him tonight so his price can go down next two weeks, 0,2 or even 0,3 maybe?
    Then after that his price will be protected for next week or so.

    What are you guys thinking atm, selling or keeping? Well I suppose quite difficult to answer before we know more..

    The curse of defensive selection goes on: Brown and Ward (= home matches) are in my team, whereas Simpson and J. Enrique (away fixtures) are on the bench. Ouch.

    So far Simpson has kept a clean sheet every time I haven't picked him and never when I have.

      With the Simpson/Ward think I straight away went with Simpson because Wolves have been poor at home. If you were going for a clean sheet then Enrique wouldn't have been a good pick because if Rodwell hadn't been sent off I think Everton would have scored. He does offer attacking points though as shown today. With Sunderland it's just a bit hit and miss, they seem to be all over the shop.
