Driving home for Christmas, we present you with the festive ScoutCast. Obviously only for those without passengers – we wouldn’t want to inflict this on unsuspecting souls.

A stocking brimming with the usual merriment, the episode comes with the annual added bonus of hearing myself and Mark exchanging “ironic” gifts as an act of “goodwill” one more.

      i reckon this is a sound move, sturridge is almost a must have at this point, a must have for me after ba plays bolton. not too sure who to suggest for your 4.3 defender, maybe caulker, R Martin, Monk?

      worth it to bring studge in for yakubu tho.

    Want to do Ba > Sturridge. Bought Ba at 6.7 so currently will sell at 7.1.
    Sturridge is 7.2 now, but surely will increase by 0.2 till 26th dec.

    In that case will have to downgrade Krul to Sorensen/ Stockdale in order to do Ba > Sturridge. So should I do the transfer now or do it next week? Really confused!!

      Just do it next week, and make whatever transfer you need to get Sturridge. You just can't sell Ba before he plays Bolton.

      In my most humble opinion, Baines isn't worth it. Next week downgrade him to Verm/Enrique, and use ye cash elsewhere.

      no , because rest of your team looks good , so if you spent 4 to accomodate sturridge who would you dump?

      The problem you have is caused by spending so much on Baines , but seeing as you already got him it not worth spending 4 to get rid with double coming up.

      Just cross your fingers and hope Sturridge does nothing , you never know he may even be rested

        So Sess for the chop. Thank i now have somebody to blame if it all goes wrong :)..Any ideas on a cheap defender to bring in for Brown. I was thinking Shotton with the home fixture against Wigan, but with Wilco coming back he might not be nailed on. Is there any more options out there or a better way of working sturridge into my team?

            Caulker on loan so he would iss the Spurs game 🙁 looking like the only option is Brown>Shotton and Ba>sturridge or i could lose Sess to get Sturridge, but that would mean playing Brown against Man City or Simpson at Anfield. Not ideal...

    Thinking of replacing VDV with Valencia for 2 weeks. Already have Nani and would be passing up on Bale, Mata & co. Bale would get his spot coming the DGW. Is rotation my biggest worry? Seeing him vs his old side etc would be a bonus.

        Hey Mull. No need to apoligise about Formica at all. At the time his fixtures looked good and the members stats were showing him as quite a threat.

        Gut feeling on Rooney ahead of RVP for (c)....bit of a gamble.

        Yeh a major differential at only £5m if he fails then the rest of my team will fix it.Norwich score in almost every game and Morison has had constant 5's and 6's every GW
