It seems that Mata ownership is low and declining. i have in in my team. opinons on him?? hes solid and plays 90min. but on the other hand there is sess, Ramires, and Valencia as cheaper options..thoughts??

I think Rooney might be a bit risky as it's a lot of money tied up, can't decide between him and Aguero and Adebayor.

It's also going to be annoying if Kompany doesn't get banned as I'll be 0.1 off swapping Richards for him.

  But with Kelly, Senderos and Dempsey I think it's a bit too Fulham risky. Maybe swap Senderos/Kelly with Simpson, it's always good to have a Newcastle defender, they've got some great fixtures too.

        I would upgrade sorensen to krul. You have shotton already and I dont see stoke keeping regular clean sheets at home. You will be playing 4 first mids anyway so moses is only a 1st bencher anyway.

This is the backline I'm currently on for my defence:

Vorm, Sorenson
Kompany, BAE, Evans, Senderos, Santon.

I'm unsure on Evans and BAE - Evans because of rotation, BAE because of injuries in Spurs' defence reducing chances of clean sheets.

Are there better options? (9.9m to spend). Thanks!

  People usually class big hitters by price but I see that as weak because the link between price and points is too often wrong. Big hitter for me is simply a highly ranked pointscorer. I'm going 2 & 3 in def, 3 & 2 in mid and all 3 in attack.

  Keepers- 2 Cheapies, bad teams get peppered in goal.
  
  Def- all mid price from good teams or OOP, so I have enrique since day one, kompany same, evans, simpson, shotton (OOP) Had R Taylor day one but sold him when he hit bad form for simpson and never bothered switching back.
  
  Mid- Creators or OOP Strikers top half teams, I have Silva day one, Bale, Walters (OOP), McClean, Moses (I refused to sell him :))
  
  Strikers 3 big forwards- Rooney, VP and Augerio for me.
  
  Normally there is a cheap striker on form, but it's finding the form players at the right time. Ba has been an exception to the rule. I'm considering dropping a big hitter for him and upgrading McClean or Moses to Nani as I have .5 in the bank and will be able to afford it when he comes back as his price will plummet after this weekend when the sheep realise he is out.

Option A
GK - Cheap
Defence - one or two mid priced - three low
Mid - Three expensive - two low-mid
Forwards - Three expensive

Option B
GK - Cheap
Defence - 3 cheap two mid priced
Mid - Four expensive (yes Dempsey classes as expensive IMO) one cheap
Forwards - Two expensive - one mid/cheap

  Oh for crying out loud. Hopefully Spurs will be 3 up by the time Moyes can sub him on and he doesn't bother. Drenthe is toxic in FPL, hurts you when he doesn't and does play!

Any Spurs fans here? What's the likely lineup for Wednesday's match with Parker and Sandro out?

Who takes the holding role in MF? I thought they struggled a bit vs WBA without Parker there to retain possession/ win the ball back ( although credit to WBA, they played good foils)

Bale was a little subdued that night, and I wonder how much that had to do with Parker's absence or was it simply that he was marked out of the game for much of the time?

        True but I don't know why he bothered at all with it - could have just played a youth team instead of majority mature second string with higher salaries and price tags. Plus went out in group stage in hindsight. CL would be worth such effort but not the Mickey mouse cup...
