As promised, half-season memberships to Fantasy Football Scout are now available for just £10. These will give access to the Members Area and all Members content up until June 1 2012.

If you’ve already got a “Free” account, you can upgrade to a Member via this link. If you’ve yet to register an account with us, you can use this link to register as a member. All payments are made via Paypal. We do also accept cheques and postal order sign-ups, but obviously these are not instant. You can get details on submitting these at the bottom of this page.

For details on the Members benefits, take a look at this breakdown. We’ve also created a new FAQ and “How To” page to help new and existing Members get more out of the content available. Click here to view this.

Our Half Season Player Projections, offering our view on player returns from Gameweek 21 onwards, are due to go live this afternoon – these are on our test servers and getting a final once over before publish. Look out for a post on those later today.

We’ve also got a new Members article on the way this evening – the first by our new guest writer. More on that later.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

      Needs Aguero

        This week - yes.
I could cheer the mighty Blues on but with injury's and Spurs form, it would end up 1-0 with shit points and I'd still feel bad !

At least this way, I get closer to the large cash pot that awaits me at the end of the season, feel good between now and tomorrow and should the surprise Everton victory come...I don't feel as bad.

        It's a mind game - (with myself)

Which is why i could never play a Scottish version of the game. Despite the fact it would be dreadful I couldn`t hope for a player to score against Hearts.

My flatmate doesnt pick Chelsea players because if Chelsea lose at least he doesnt get fantasy pain as well.

Personally I just avoid the Arsenal defence as I feel I might overestimate their abilities.

This is a fantasy football post though?
The fact I would be happy for my team to lose to stay ahead in my fantasy league simply shows the shallowness of my character as a football fan but my absolute single mindedness as a FF player.

Yeah but there is a difference between hoping that your team win 6-5 with your fantasy player banging in all the opponents 5, and hoping you lose 5-0

Is there ? Surely the fan wishes his/her team to win while playing well, scoring a few ,keeping a clean sheet . I'm not sure I'd like to see utd in my case winning 6-5 it might seem a cracker but as a fan I'd prefer the above formula. I know it doesn't happen that way but I'm being theoretical, but also at the end of the day whether we like it or not- we have no control of outcomes in football matches in either reality or fantasy .

BUT...the injury's are too much - even for Moyes.

      I see:

      Hibbert - Distin - Heittinga - Baines
      Gueye - Fellaini - Neville - Anichebe

An ingrowing toenail is better than On The Buses.

(Apart from Blakey, of course. A character from a Brecht play who somehow wound up in a nasty little ITV 70's sitcom.)

It's quite the craze over in the States these days. NBC Nightly news did a brief story on it last night on national news. It's certainly getting a lot of exposure. It's won a ton of awards already, but I'm sure you Brits already know all of this.

So after consulting with a big bottle of Chimay, I pulled the trigger on my WC early. Whoops. Did the Belgians lead me wrong?

    Vorm | Krul
    Enrique | Cahill | Simpson | Senderos | Shotton
    Valencia | Silva | Bale | Dempsey | Moses
    RVP | Aguero | Bellamy

Taking a gamble with Bellamy over Sturridge. Hopefully my midfield can help prop me up if that goes bust.

Is Moses the best choice for bench fodder? I keep hearing about McClean, but I wonder if it's just his name that getting the attention.

Both dodgy for a couple of weeks due to Cahill being new, and possibly rotation prone and no Kompany affecting the City ack line

However City are more solid I believe, but Cahill is about 1 mil cheaper

The most essential for quite a few gameweeks imo. City have a great run of fixtures and the best attack in the league. It makes sense to bring in their best offensive player, especially with the Silva injury rumour. Kompany/Richards is also essential imo.

Clichy is a risk. And as for balance i'm not sure. I'm debating whether i should have a front line of Rooney, Aguero and RVP. I think all three will score big soon but it makes my team very top heavy. But then again if i save up two transfers, the balance can easily be corrected. Just think in terms of pts per £.

This is the backline I’m currently on for my WC

    Vorm, Sorenson
    Kompany, BAE, Evans, Senderos, Santon.

Are there better options than Evans and BAE for around the same price?

Worried about rotation for Evans, and injuries to Spurs' defence reducing CS potential for BAE.

    UPDATE ON SILVA

what man city fans say mancini said in his press conference

    "Edin we decide tomorrow.

    Mario the same.

    But we have a problem."

At the very end of the press conference he mentions Silva as another injury doubt, but doesn't expand on it.

a nother fan who watched it said "His body language seemed as though he wanted to avoid talking about it.

Never really has a problem mentioning injuries before."

Williamson - Nailed on until (if) we sign a defender in which case he could easily then be dropped. We are in the market for a CB but it depends if Pardew sees that target as cover for Williamson or to play alongside Coloccini. Looks dangerous at set pieces but never seems to actually score. Probably due a goal.

Santon - Pardew has said that he's laid down a marker for the season now, implying he is nailed on but hard to know until he strings a few appearances together. More likely to get assists, not sure what his goal potential is like.

I'd go for Santon if I were picking between the 2 right now.
