Seven three o’clock kick-offs with Chelsea, United, Liverpool and Spurs all enjoying home comforts – the scene is set for a bonanza of Fantasy points. While such a scenario has a habit of smacking us round the chops, we’re remaining optimistic and have opened our Dugout Discussion chatroom ready to soak up your views as the points pour in.

It’s safe to say that the Old Trafford clash between United and Bolton will carry the biggest expectation amongst the Fantasy fraternity. Wayne Rooney and Nani will go into the game with armbands stacking up, while Tottenham’s attacking talent will again carry our hopes as they face up to Wolves at the Lane.

Good luck for the Gameweek, we’ll see you on the other side with the Knee Jerk.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

I made a mistake this morning though.

Last night I was settled on Ben Arfa in my 11. This morning I replaced him with Yakubu.

Yep, sorry Isaki. I finally changed my mind a couple more times after we talked last night.
Just before going to bed I decided I HAD to start Evans at home to Bolton because his chances of a cleansheet were better than Yakubu's chances to score (in my mind anyway). This morning I changed my mind again and put Yakubu back in because of the doubts of Ben Arfa actually starting (in a couple of papers apparently). Bad move!

Am thinking about wildcarding this gw. Does this sound correct?

I am thinking that the possible outs will be:

Ruddy, Yakubu, Adebayor, Jones, Enrique, Nani
    ------------------------------------------------
    Team currently

    Vorm Ruddy
    Enrique Jones BAE Clark Simpson
    Nani Silva Bale Cabaye Pilkington
    RvP Adabyor Yakubu

All I'll say is look at the fiso website to see who's price is going up and down tonight and get those subs done first. I think Jones and Nani might drop whereas Yakubu will rise so wait until tomorrow before taking him out.

I agree with who youre taking out but who you bringing in? 🙂
See you reckon about Sorensen/Given as a keeper combo? I think Swansea's fixtures are horrible now

So how many people's pre wildcard teams have outscored their wildcard teams? I still would of had a bad day but Sturridge and Jones not playing would have given me jammy second sub points though Surman's goal. Also, 0 minutes for Sturridge outscored his replacement.

Just for clarity re this week's assistgate:

"Assists are awarded to the player from the goal scoring team, who makes the last touch before the goal is scored.
If after this touch, an opposing player touches the ball outside the penalty area altering the intended destination of the ball, then no assist is given, except if this intervention directly results in an own goal."

So there is a distinction - you only need a touch to claim it as the attacking player.

So if Welbeck touched it, 1st Rooney assist disappears. I think it's 50/50 as footage so far is inconclusive.

If you're a defender, you need to be outside the box and not only get a touch, not only change the direction of the ball, but change the "intended destination" of the ball.

The fact people are debating whether Wheater touched it and not whether he actually deflected it into Welbeck's path shows the 2nd Rooney assist is likely to stay.

We only have some crap quality youtube videos to go on so far, and due to their quality they are inconclusive. Path didn't change, and to claim based on that graininess that someone definitely did or didn't touch it is insane

Rooney didnt even touch the ball for the second assist... it was i think carrick to rooney but before rooney could touch wheater pushed it away..

    Ruddy to Lindegaard
    Kompany to Baines
    Walker to Ward
    Moses to Dempsey
    Nani to Walters
    Sturridge to Aguero
    Adebayor to Morison

Would you do that? I will also do Baines back to Kompany and Morison to Ba when he returns.

    rooney assists

1 passes to scholes, welbeck feigns to get the ball, but pulls out - does not touch the ball

    ROONEY ASSIST

2 passes to welbeck, irrelevant of deflection

    ROONEY ASSIST

    in conclusion

    2 assists

    yakubu/sturridge owners, jog on

I don't think u could say it was 100% a touch so they should leave it as is if they are not sure IMO

Hi guys, was just wanting to confirm, if i play my wildcard, can i make 2 subs, then wait for the values of my other players to rise, then transfer them out after (eg making 2 subs today and 5 on monday)?

Also, if i transfer in Yakubu today, then take him out tomorrow when his value rises, will i gain value by doing that?

    Thank you

Wildcard gives you unlimited transfers for the GW, they do not all need to be made on the same day. Players need to rise .2 for you to get .1 profit.
