As the scrap for survival enters the final four Gameweeks of the season, today’s Members article assesses the top performers from the bottom five sides over each side’s respective last four fixtures. Using our own ICT Index and the Opta stats available, we analyse the top five from each of the relegation candidates, assessing their form and the potential offered ahead of what will prove to be a frantic finish to the 2011/12 Premier League campaign. As luck would have it, this also doubles up as an assessment of those players in form amongst the ranks of Villa and Bolton – those teams with two fixtures in Gameweek 35…

Any news on Yak? Need to make my transfers in the next 10 minutes as I won't get another chance before the deadline.. Anyone want to take a quick look at my link and make some suggestions? 🙂

From the looks of it you have Siggy buf Barfa would cost a transfer.
I'd keep Sigurdsson, he's in form. If you want HBA then sell McClean or maybe Walcott.Open Controls

Lads whats the consensus for the season on Baines is he in or out?

Read the flipping article!

If BAE keeps a cleanie I will copy SPORTING's team 1:1

Right, getting rid of Arteta for Dempsey. This necessitates getting rid of either Rooney or van Persie for either Tevez or Aguero. What would be your choice from that lot?
Open Controls-
Roon->Aguero. I knee jerked Tevez but i wish i chose Aguero.
Open Controls-
-
He's on pens and is more of a finisher and Tevez more of a creator. I'm splitting hairs but Aguero is cheaper, so it kind of tips the balance.
Open Controls
-
-
You wanted the 20% ownership less potent differential instead of old scary b*ll*cks?
Open Controls-
Good point, i knew i chose him for a reason. I'm very tired. 🙂
Open Controls
-
-
Is it madness to even think of getting rid of RVP?
Open Controls-
Not if you have Walcott. But my thinking is that Arsenal have two good fixtures after the dgw and are always an attacking team. I'd keep RVP.
Open Controls
-
-
I went RVP to Aguero
Feels dirty after RVP has done so well for me all season. Injury news on Arteta & Baines reassuring me a little though.Open Controls

anyone think mancini could play dzeko up top on his own v wolves?
Open Controls-
Adebayor > Dzeko is genuinely something i'm considering.
Open Controls -
No
Open Controls -
Not a chance
Open Controls -
Aguero has to play at least 60 mins

Probably only Terry Connor...

Valencia –> Pienaar for a hit after this weekend, folks ?
Open Controls-
I'm doin Wallcott to pienar for a hit next week. Do it.
Open Controls -
-
Might do it for a bit of added spice/craic, folks. Will give me an extra game to be interested in. Was only intending taking one 4 point hit, but this would make it 8. Was wanting to get Jelavic in, but don't really have a space for him...
Open Controls

Something in me really wants to transfer in Ireland for de double but my head says no, do Collins instead. It would be a 4 pt hit but feel like a bit of a gamble. Anyone else thinking of Ireland? Have a good feeling about him....
Open Controls-
If I had to chose one AVL player, I would decline and run away laughing like a little schoolboy.
All things considered, I'd pick Ireland (and by "all things considered", I really mean that I haven't thought this through at all)Open Controls-
yea. on form Petrov would be the one to pick for de double but don't think he'll score much away to villa for his second game. Villa have nice fixtures but horrible form. They should be stinging a bit after Man U last week and may bounce back? Collins could get 2 cleanies, best case scenario 12 pts.
You talked me down, collins it is.
CheersOpen Controls -
If I had to choose an AVL player, it'd be the cheapest one possible with no intention of ever letting him near my first XI, spending the rest of the money upgrading elsewhere.
Open Controls
-
-
You're the one who deserves the hit if you do that...
Open Controls -
If Warnock is fit and plays both then he could be an OPP option.
I don't fancy Ireland for some reason. Considering Petrov for Bolton.Open Controls

Cisse & Sess > Aguero & Surman.
Am I crazy?
(bear in mind I have Rooney & RvP already)Open Controls-
Well, crazy would be putting it nicely...
Open Controls -
If you want Aguero or Tevez, get rid of RVP or Rooney. That way is crazy.
Open Controls -
Yes Cisse will out score RVP.
Open Controls -
Yeah, maybe I'm a bit nuts. Can see city putting a few past wolves, Aguero will surely start...? Just can't decide who to get rid of out of Rooney & RvP.
Open Controls
-
-
I was going to do Rooney>Cisse, Sess>Demps & RVP>Tevez over next few weeks, but not 100%
Rooney-playing badly, tough fixtures but scoring
Cisse- On form but has Che and City in coming weeks
RVP - off form, im looking for differential
Tevez- after this week tough fixtures, not 100% to start, but could score big this weekend if plays
Dempsey-On form, but has an on form wigan this week and tough away double gameweek
Please someone help me out need to pull back 45pointsOpen Controls-
Just do it. It is a good plan.

My mate in my ML is doing the same....
Open Controls -
I think we need to set up a support group. "Thinking of AV players. Need help"
Open Controls-
My name is Dave.
It first started a few days ago. At first it was just Collins, but recently I've been considering Weimann, Albrighton or Warnock. One of them must be worth a 4 point hit?Open Controls

I've (c) Weimann.

Hamburger SV's sporting director Frank Arnesen is apparently in transfer negotiations with Dirk Kuyt and his agent. Although his contract at Liverpool runs until 2013, Kuyt can leave for a fixed €1 million fee at the end of this season.

Rooney -> Tevez.. done! 😯
Such a weight has been lifted from my shoulders!
Note to self: do not watch United game, it could be very difficult viewing!Open Controls-
-
i still have not grown the gonads to do that, only time will tell if they grow in time
Open Controls -
I did the same yesterday. I'm very concerned though that last gameweek has resulted in everyone's teams looking almost identical. It's gona take a few points hits to create a unique team again.
Open Controls -
I have an incoming post about Rooney actually. I do not really approve of this transfer although it could easily pay off. Depends if you are leading or chasing though IMO.
Open Controls
-
-
How likely is it that Tevez will start?
Open Controls-
Barring injury, it's a cert. Why wouldn't he? The time to shilly-shally has long passed
Open Controls

City 0 - 3 Wolves
Sorry everyone.. its' gonna happen.Open Controls-
Isn't it at Wolves? Surely 5-0 if Wolves are at home
Open Controls-
Sorry, you're right. Fletcher hat trick and a brace from Jarvis.
Everyone BUY BUY BUY Wolves.Open Controls

I predict Tevez will also miss a penalty before being sent off.
Open Controls-
He'll be on the bench. Dzeko lone striker.
Open Controls

yea. Last time I saw such hype about City players was before the Norrich game earlier in the season which was a very dissapointing affair indeed.

Team at the moment for GW35 (1 free transfer & 0.9m in the bank):
Krul(STO)
Kompany(wol) Vermaelen(CHE) Evans(EVE)
Walcott(CHE) Sigurdsson(bol) Bale(qpr) Valencia(EVE)
Rooney(EVE) RVP(CHE) Cisse(STO)
subs – Vorm, Simpson, McClean, Kelly
Firstly, are my starting XI and subs selected correctly? Secondly, what is my best approach for this week?
a) Walcott > Demspey
b) Rooney > Aguero
c) both, for a 4 point hit
d) nothing, and have 2 valuable frees for GW36
Thoughts?Open Controls-
-
That option is looking better every day tbh
Open Controls
-
-
D) for sure and I'd probably double on Newcastle defence and bench Vermaelen although there's not much in it.
Open Controls-
The one time i have doubled up with Krul and Simpson it didn't work out and i've been reluctant to do it since. Needless to say i've missed out on a few Simpson clean sheets since! I do think they have a great chance of a CS this week but i also think Vermaelen is a good option against a knackered Chelsea team who will surely have one eye on next Wednesday
Open Controls
-
-
Maybe B, but equally D could work out better for the long term.
Open Controls-
There is a genuine chance that i could do any of a, b c, or d. At the moment i'm kind of seeing it in this order of preference: a, d, c, b.
You not fancy Dempsey this week against in-form Wigan?Open Controls
-
-
a you then have Dempsey for a good fixture this week and you gain a DGWer
Open Controls-
This was the plan all along and is still what i'll probably end up doing
Open Controls

Is Ashley Young nailed on for England?
Open Controls -
Huth or Cahill in for Baines in anticipation for gwk 36 or just sit tight with Baines for now?
Open Controls-
Sit tight because he might be back. If we hear further news and actual confirmation that he is out for the season then a switch to Terry might be the way forward.
Open Controls -
sit tight dude. Then this time next week when he is confimed as out bring in Huth. Cahil too much of a roation risk for de double IMHO.
Open Controls -
I'm going to sit tight til next week and then if Baines is out, it's Huth time.

RMEuro2012Team
Given (Lindegaard)
Abate | Ward (Olsson, Strinic, Jodlowiec)
Fabregas | A.Young | Ribery | Eriksen | Parker
Ronaldo | Robben | RVP
Any suggestions on changes appreciated 🙂Open Controls -
How many clean sheets are we expecting from Spurs in their last 4 games (BLA, bol, av, FUL)? Contemplating a double up now Baines is more than likely out.
Open Controls-
-
so... Petrov then...... Any thoughts. Really want a player for the double. Can't bear the idea of a DGW without a DGW player. All the A.V apathy has worn me down.
Open Controls-
I've decided to go with neither Villa or Bolton! Don't want to be stuck with one of their players afterwards! Petrov is a good call though if I had to choose someone! penalties etc.
Open Controls-
transferring him out for bale next week. Strictly a 1 week deal. He's replacing Sess this week as reckon Sess will get 3pts
Open Controls -
Petrov or HBA is my difficult decision.
Next weeks fixtures irrelevant because of WC.Open Controls-
fair play for still having a WC!!!! Takes patience.
Open Controls
-
-
-
-
I'm hoping at least 2.
Open Controls -
FUL will score: 3.
Open Controls -
0 or 1 for me
Open Controls
-

So my team for next week is...
Schwarzer
Evans Verm BAE
Valencia Bale Sigurdsson Petrov
Tevez (c) Rooney (vc) RVP
Bench: Mignolet McClean Kelly Baines
Good to go..? Mignolet vs Schwarzer is stressing me out a little.Open Controls -
For Euro 2012: Which one?
A) Eriksen & M'vila
B) Rosicky & M'vila
C) Eriksen & ParkerOpen Controls -
Decision making Walcott or bale suggestion are welcome
Open Controls-
bale for DGW next week. easy
Open Controls
-
-
So apparently Liverpool has only won 1 in the 11 games Gerrard has started.
So Liverpool play better without Gerrard 😯Open Controls-
Here's another one. Liverpool have failed to win in each of the last 8 that Carroll hasn't started.
Open Controls
-
-
Krul, Mignolet
Evans, Caulker, Simpson, Verm, Collins
Dempsey, Bale, Valencia, Sigurdsson, McClean
RvP, Rooney, Adebayor
Walcott > Petrov and Adebayor > Tevez (C) 4 point hit.
Wildcard next week.
Yay or nay? If Nay, please suggest something else.Open Controls -
Which one to bench from Richards, Simpson, Evans & Enrique? Cheers
Open Controls -
So...crazy to captain Rooney? In every home game this season he has started and played more than 60 minutes (13 out of 16), he has only got a score of 2 in 1 of them (the defeat to Man City). In all the rest he has managed at least a goal or an assist (with the exception of Sunderland where he still got 2 BPs).
If people have Tevez/Aguero then fair enough (even though the 6 goal 'demolition' of Norwich really flattered to deceive IMO), but other than those 2, there are no other outstanding options for captaincy.
Cisse looks good value but how long will his goalscoring form last and then we have Dempsey who, although is in good form, is playing for a team playing for nothing against a very in-form side who are actually playing for premiership survival.
So...are people crazy to be transferring Rooney out like mad? I think he might be one of the best captain choices for this GW.Open Controls-
Good points. This is why I sold RVP rather than Wazza. I got in Aguero.
The last result did flatter but Wolves aren't going to keep a clean sheet so there will be goals.
I have Evans & Valencia so already triple covered for United so captain goes to Kun.Open Controls-
I could say something about the last time RVP faced Chelsea but i won't 🙂
Captaining Aguero? Away from home!Open Controls
