As the scrap for survival enters the final four Gameweeks of the season, today’s Members article assesses the top performers from the bottom five sides over each side’s respective last four fixtures. Using our own ICT Index and the Opta stats available, we analyse the top five from each of the relegation candidates, assessing their form and the potential offered ahead of what will prove to be a frantic finish to the 2011/12 Premier League campaign. As luck would have it, this also doubles up as an assessment of those players in form amongst the ranks of Villa and Bolton – those teams with two fixtures in Gameweek 35…
Mig/Schwarzer (undecided)
Caulker Jevans BAE
Ryo Bale Demps Siggy Val
RVP Tevez (Jelavic)
who to bench in the front 8 ? at the moment Jelavic has the job of warmerOpen ControlsHell-o ! Anybody here ??
Open ControlsUp by 40 pts in my ML. Think I'm playing it safe and keeping roon and RvP.. makes sense in your opinion?
Open ControlsIt's only the 'safe' option if your rivals are also doing the same. Could get messy if they have jumped on the Tevez/Aguero bandwagon without you.
Open ControlsProbably didn't get into first by trying to do what the others in the league were doing.
Open ControlsI think my nearest rival did. He took a hit and made two transfers.. Maybe I can get by this week..
Open ControlsIm in same boat , 60 point lead , just know rival will bring in and capt Tevez.
I think safest play this week is just to save tranfers and hope for the best. Chances are either Rooney or Van Persie will do well this week , and by leeping both you have more time to decide which one to lose for the double.Open Controls
Really don't know who to pick...
Ream or BAE???
Ream has two fixtures but after his dire performance against Newcastle he might get dropped.Open ControlsGamble with Ream !!

My message : Choose 1 to bench (play Vorm)
Bae - Verm - Turner - CaulkerOpen ControlsIs Lichaj a starter now guys?
Open ControlsWho to start
Richards (wol) or Rangel (bol)
Is Richards due a start do you think?Open ControlsCan't remember if richards played the last one. If he didn't, he will probably play this one
Open Controls
Which one for the DGW?
A) Friedel (BLA + bol) and Caulker
B) Schwarzer (eve + liv) and BAEOpen ControlsRMT
Schwarzer
Sagna Evans Caulker
Walcott Valencia Miyaichi Dempsey
RVP Cisse RooneyOpen Controlsok so im planing on bringing in 3 dgw players over the next 2 weeks for a 4 point hit..
A. Rooney to adebayor
B. Walcott to Dempsey
C. Sessegnon to Benarfa (sess benched this week valencia playing instead.. so if i do C this week then valencia benched)
what order should i do these in
currently think B this week and A C next week.. but even C can be done this week right.. BC this week anyone?Open ControlsB - You definitely want Dempsey in this week.
C - Newcastle have a decent GW35 fixture, but then Sunderland are playing a poor Villa side, albeit away.
A - Rooney is potential captain material so you can hold off on that one.Open Controls
Siggy as my captain over Cisse. who with me ?
Open ControlsThere fine line between genius and madness , and you just crossed it
Open Controls😎 feel furious when I give him VC last week..
Open Controls
I wouldn't do it, but I wouldn't be surprised if he turns out to be the weeks highest scoring player.
Open Controls+11 with 7.3% owns him, i think its differential ~ why not he can be highest scoring. in his form IMO
Open Controls
- Open Controls
Absoutely..Siggy + Dempsey that I can trust for midfiels that will get goal/s
Open Controls
So since you know, Bolton has lost its last two games with Ryo on the bench and they had won 3 in a row before when he was starting, he should starting again, right? Right? RIGHT?
Open ControlsI hope so , they certainly cant use the excuse that he is tired .
m wondering if Wenger put the pressure on , to tell Bolton manager to look after his boyOpen Controls

I agree Epic. Man City have been so poor away from home. I know its wolves but to get rid of RVP is not good imo, Chelsea will surely rest some knowing that CL is the priority and Arse fixtures ok.. Rooney to MC forward seems popular here but even if he has not been playing that well he has still been getting points and he has no selection issues hanging over him, pens too.
Mu plan is to keep Rooney this week and then rid of him for a double gameweek striker. Just my opinion and hope im not proved horribly wrongOpen Controls# Should have added 'Man city have been oor away from home except for one week, last week, which does not give huge confidence in them,.
Why no edit post option here????Open Controls
- Open Controls
Oh and if you are asking who is the better option out of the 2. There is no real answer.
You could probably say Aguero edges it due to being cheaper and more than likely still on pens.
But then Tevez is a proven points scoer both home and away unlike Aguero.Open Controls- Open Controls
Aguero for sure starter

Who do you fancy winning this match up? I'm 9 points ahead in our ML so it's pretty close up there!!
Me: Bogdan (SWA/avl), Kompany (wol), Skrtel (WBA), Dempsey (WIG), P Cisse (STO)
Him: Migs (avl), Vermaelen (CHE), Enrique (WBA), Yaya (wol), Agbonlahor (SUN, BOL)Open ControlsRight, I think I've decided to stick with my original plan and keep Sess, swap Walcott for Dempsey, save the other transfer and play Bale. How does this look -
Bogdan
Sagna Evans Simpson
Siggy Dempsey Valencia Bale
Rooney Cisse RVP
Vorm Sess Turner Cahill
Haven't decided on El Jefe yet or the subs order. Any glaring errors there?Open ControlsGreat team, BK.
Sagna/Turner is borderline but I guess Sundy's recent away form should suggest a place for Turner on the bench.Open Controls
Morning everyone.
Anyone considering getting in VDV and giving him the armband? His time has come and 'Arry needs him to shine badly.Open ControlsDepends on ur position in leagues i guess. If ur leading no. chasing? Take a chance
Open ControlsNo. I've got enough to worry about in life without adding the state of VDVs hamstrings to the list.
Open Controls😆 Fair enough.
I would have to get rid of Walcott for a hit though. A tad too risky?Open Controls
Considering it for GW36 if that's what you mean? My likely lads coming in next week are
VDV, Adebayor & A Cole/Terry
Being a CHE fan, which defender would you recommend getting? Price is no issue.Open ControlsNope J'wick, considering it for this week.
It's either
A) RVP to Tevez for a hit
B) Walc to VDV for a hit
C) Stick
I'm guessing Cech isn't an option? If not, JT, Cole and then Cahill (if Luiz is out).Open ControlsIf I were you I'd definitely do C). RVP can score against anyone, so don't be too surprised if he does well this week.
I could get Cech but I already have Bogdan so would be negating a DGWer there. Reckon it's worth it?Open ControlsYeah in that case you'd rather spend your transfer elsewhere. A nailed-on starter in the DGW isn't worth transferring out/benching.
Any chance Wenger rests Walcott?Open ControlsAlways a chance, but I'd say very, very unlikely. If we lose tomorrow then 3rd place is out of our hands. I think the team he puts out will be as full strength as possible. Ox to come on with 30 mins to go.

Option 1- Leave Yakubu in the team and if he dont make it Siggy comes in
Option 2- Yak to Cisse and Siggy still 1st subOpen ControlsTrue, current front players are-
Valencia Dempsey Ryo Bale Siggy
Yak, Rvp RooneyOpen Controls
I think u should do 2 , but don't think to bench him..
Open Controls
deadzoners 你好!
front 3 is:
bendtner/rvp/rooney
in preparation for GW36, i'm thinking about doing
bendy>papiss
rooney>aguero
will give me tasty fixtures in GW35, in addition to 2 more DGW players. need to do the second to finance the first, 4pt hit.
issue is doing the above would give me a selection headache this week, with a midfield of
valencia/petrov/bale/dempsey/siggy (can't really imagine dropping any of them)
should i leave bendy>papiss to next week and have a 3-5-2 this week, or drop one of the mids and have a 3-4-3 with papiss/rvp/aguero up front this week?
or should i leave it all alone for this week and do both transfers free next week?
many thanks!Open Controlsmeant to add, 2 more DGWers because i'll do aguero>suarez next week.
Open Controls
If I bring Martin Petrov in for a 4 point hit, it will mean benching Bale in GW35 and Valencia in GW36.
Will Petrov's four matches bring 4 more points than Bale's GW 35 and Valencia's GW 36?
A) Petrov
B) Bale/ValenciaOpen Controlsthat's a tough one.
if it were the other way around (benching valencia in GW35 and bale in GW36), i'd say it's not worth it.
however, you've got the benching about right, as you'd defo want valencia this week and bale next, so i guess i'd go B.Open ControlsI'd be bringing in Petrov for McClean (who would have been on the bench both weeks), so I guess your saying it's worth the 4 pt. hit.
Open Controls
Anybody taking a punt on Heskey to get among the goals?
Open ControlsTroll
Open Controls
Ha, ha...just realised I've been replying to posts on a previous article, what a spanner...
A. Siggy (bol) + Dempsey (WIG)
vs
B. Silva (wol) + Bale (qpr)
This GW, who is a better pairing to have?Open Controlsi would think hands down A
Open ControlsA and captain Demp
Open ControlsOkay many thanks for all the answers and A was what I was thinking too.
This is the situation:
Me and my closest rival will be playing almost indentical teams this week. The only differance is he has Silva and I have Siggy. I know he has just brought in Bale for Sess (worked it out from transfers/squad value/bank). I am 53pts ahead. Therefore do I match him and bring in Bale so it's down to Siggy vs Silva or raise him and bring in Dempsey for Sess, thereby the scenario above?
It is also our H2H this week. And this before a DGW.....maddnessOpen Controls
Hey ENR - are you going for any of the CHE mids in GW36? If so, which one(s) would you recommend?
Open ControlsI guess now that we have something to play for at Nou Camp, all the good ones are going to be rested for 1 game at least during the PL.
Mata still remains the best option, Lamps could be a differential punt due to his set-pieces. Consider either only if they don't start at Nou Camp.Open ControlsHey ENR...if Torres starts Saturday and Drogs starts on Tuesday, are you as tempted as me to go Rooney>Torres for DGW? My thinking is that Drogs will play CL and FA Cup and Torres will play the league.
CHE has the most favorable fixture in DGW.Open ControlsIt's very iffy as it all boils down to how many games Drog can start. What you said could happen or Drog might start NEW (considering it's a very vital match to decide 4th place) & Liv (FA Cup), and Torres might start QPR & liv (PL).
Open Controls
defensive arrangement right?
bogdan (foster)
evans/kompany/verm (walker/taiwo)Open ControlsYep. Walker probably runs Verm close, but his attacking potential sways it for Verm I reckon.
Open Controls
This RVP/Rooney vs Tevez/Aguero dilemma has gotta be one of the most debated on here this season correct? What else has had such quantity of comment?
What will probably be best for everyone (especially this site) will be if they all just hit 2pts. If one or two perform and the others don't this place will go into meltdown. If three perform and one doesn't, that isn't worth thinking about.
Season defining moment coming up for many me thinks.....Open ControlsAbsolutley a season moment. Imo..,you cannot look at GW 35 on its own. When making this decision, i personally think you must look at it as part of a 3 week plan, and can the resulys can only be assesed after GW 37.
This is my personal reason for NOT doing RVP/Rooney>Tevez/Aguero.
Make sense?Open ControlsAgree Canadian, if i got a MC fwrd it wld be for 1 week at the expense of Rooney, i am happy to be without, keep rooney and rvp and then rooney to double gameweek forward next.
This is just my opinion and i can understand others going for Tevez/ Aguero, guess alot depends on your priorities ie leading or chasing in leaguesOpen ControlsIt does and I agree, but in terms of a one week impact, which many play (week-to-week, some very successfully), I reckon this has got to be a monumental occasion coming up....
The speed at which pages will move on Sunday will be insane....Open ControlsWait til the MC team sheet come out with Dzeco on it! Joking
Open Controls
I think the key is whether you see goals in the manchester derby (i think there will be) and whether you think that your main rival will get a city forward or not!!
Open ControlsAlso, imo, Rooney at home to Everton is a very nice fixture. No selection doubts, on pens and scoring goals when not even playing that well.
I wld understand the rush to MC forwards more if Rooney had, say, Chelsea awayOpen ControlsMorning SAB - I trust you are well. Were you not called something else in the past? From Bangkok?...or am I getting old?
Anyway...let's say I keep the status quo with Cisse/Rvp/Rooney up front...any (c) ideas? I also have Dempsey but I'm not sure I can handle another (c) vs Wigan getting me 4 pts.Open ControlsYes that is me, in Samui now not Bangkok.
Same front 3 as me and i am c on DempseyOpen ControlsCool. Hope all well in Thailand.
How's the ranking this year?Open ControlsBTW, I used to be Inalize
Open ControlsAh, remember now! Hvent posted much this year, just read
Open Controls
Ranking is bad, needed 8 green arrows in the last 8 weeks to get me in the 65,000 range. How u doing?
Open ControlsNot to bad. Same as every year. Start slow, get to around 15k halfway thru and then come tumbling down in spectacular fashion(Gw24, not (c)Rvp vs Blackburn) and then starting the slow recovering process.
I've had 9 or 10 green arrows in a row. Currently 5500th. tempted to gamble with Kun(c) to try and get to top1k.Open Controls
He has, he brought in Aguero and will captain for sure. I worked it out from transfers/team value and bank. As I'm 53pts ahead, I had to do the same, although I wanted to bring in Tevez. He did not have the money.
So I'm playing to win my ML first and overall rank second. Damage limitation and hold my lead in preperation for the DGW when he will go for it with about 4 or 5 transfers....Open Controls
But I suppose my question was, has any issue been more hotly debated this season?
Open Controls
Posted above for ENR but anyone feel free to chime in.......
if Torres starts Saturday and Drogs starts on Tuesday, are you as tempted as me to go Rooney>Torres for DGW? My thinking is that Drogs will play CL and FA Cup and Torres will play the league.
CHE has the most favorable fixture in DGW.Open ControlsI'm going to give the Chel fwds a miss. Tempted with Mata or ACole though.

Arsenal Team News:
Arteta confirmed to be out of the season but won't require surgery.
Benayoun ineligible.
Kos back from two match ban.
http://www.arsenal.com/news/news-archive/team-news-arteta-diaby-coquelin-koscielnyOpen ControlsIt's always easier on the mind to Captain a striker isn't it. I've missed out on a few big Dempsey, Siggy and Mata hauls that way.
Open ControlsMilf(c) always has a possibility of a another 2 pts for a CS though. I will go DGW(c) on a Milf.
