FFS Paddy Power Cup – Round One Results

The line may have been drawn under Gameweek 11 but with the First Round of the Fantasy Football Scout Paddy Power Cup VII also kicking off last weekend, we take a look at the results from the 512 ties over Saturday and Sunday.

As many as 14 matches finished all square – the winners went through on rank and are denoted by an asterix – while plenty of big names have barged their way into the Second Round. Those include Mark and Granville, who won their ties 69-56 and 66-46 respectively.

Scout League leader and overall number one Iyad Zahlan cruised through – his side Giavara555 flexed their muscles with a 65-36 victory last weekend, though defending champion mch made an early exit – his side were downed 63-54 by Limbo.

          Then no. Aguero is in form too and is a better prospect. No point downgrading unless you need the cash. After City get eliminated from the CL, Aguero will start pretty much every game.

          Well sometimes it better to hold a player in my opinion, I have been to rash on occasions. Aguero will explode at some point this season, it looks imminent to me.

    Fairly set on Santi -> Silva this week with my freebie, and then get some Arsenal coverage back in GW15 (probably Walcott or Giroud). Silva will be rested with no midweek international game, plus he has an 'easy' home tie and I fancy MCY to score 3-4 goals. Santi will only get back from Panama on Thursday, so he only has one day to get over the jet-lag and train before the lunchtime game on Saturday.

    Came online after 3 days, to see that my awesome team has 5 doubtful players! Shocking, that all of RVP, Ba, Nelsen, Walcott and Maloney have a 75% chance of playing.

    I think most of these could be international avoiding fake injuries though. Thoughts on which 5 of the above could be a serious doubt??
