        This season I'd agree, Ramsey has been very impressive especially as he's been playing slightly more defensive at times. Wilshere - Ramsey is their best combination for me. Probably won't matter though, Wilshere will get injured any day now.

    10.5 for a 32 year old Eto'o fresh from the mighty Russian League? More like 8.0 to 9.0 and could be a bit overpriced at that as he'll not be nailed-on. Please Jose give Lukaku his chance, he's class.

I think the reason why defenders are getting more bonus than midfielsder this year, is

Pass Completion (after making at least 30 passes)
70% completion (1 point)
80% completion (2 points)
90% completion (3 points)

Defenders always make simple & short passes, so their pass completion is high, so easy for them to get at least 2 BPS (for pass completion) every game (Ex: Mertersacker last game?). While midfileders only get 3 BPS for an assist, and they usually make more complex passes, long passes, long crosses...to create chances, so their pass completion is not high as defenders's.

sub reason:

For every 8 clearances, blocks and interceptions (total) --> Total, so easy for evey defender.

One cheap midfielder which very much interests me is Jason Puncheon. Selfish and direct which is great for FPL and is pretty nailed on. Bound to be in and around the goals for Palace sooner rather than later, proved it last year.

        A kind of DM for me, hardly in the Mascherano or Makele brand of DM going round braking up play which Arsenal need. More of a holding midfielder for me with some attacking strength. He's 31 too. I thought Wilshere would be more of a DM than him.

    I'm not sure. Obviously if you look deeper down, he is primed to take off - possible no.10 spot (his favourite and most effective), a good schedule, and seems to be a lower team bully, but I have a feeling many will look at his price tag and his 9 points overall and will think that is not good enough.

  I wondered about all of the wildcarders yesterday, but today I happened to play mine. Injuries and all the new signings to toy with during the International break give me a good amount of time to tinker and screw my team up even more. What's so bad about that? 😛
