We roll out the final part of our weekly recommendations for the next four-to-six Gameweeks this afternoon. Having already ran the rule over the Defence and Midfield we turn our attentions to the men up front, where a couple of South Americans lead the way:

With form and fixtures still firmly on his side, Luis Suarez is an immovable force at the top of the forward standings this week. The Uruguayan faces a flight back from his native country ahead of the weekend Merseyside derby and while a trip to Goodison isn’t the easiest, Suarez then has three home games (NOR, WHM, CAR) and a trip to Hull in the subsequent five as he looks to continue the form that has already harvested four sets of double figures in six appearances. Daniel Sturridge drops down the pecking order this week – the England forward has now registered blanks in each of the last two and, in comparison to his strike partner, has managed a single double figure haul in 11 Gameweeks; a crucial factor when weighing up captaincy options.

Sergio Aguero remains tucked in behind Suarez despite a surprising blank away at Sunderland. The City forward has also produced four hauls of 10+ this term and with seven goals and five assists in his last six appearances, has more or less mirrored the Liverpool forward’s form. Having already scored and picked up bonus against both United and Chelsea, he’ll have no fear as Spurs roll up to the Etihad next Sunday and with Swansea, West Brom and Fulham in the next six, Aguero is handed plenty chance to retain his spot as the overall leader in the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) game.

Wayne Rooney is our preferred United forward. David Moyes’ side have trips to Cardiff and Villa, in addition to home games against Everton, Newcastle and West Ham in the next six – Rooney has now scored or assisted in seven of the last eight and has been the champions’ most consistent attacker this term. There’s no denying Robin Van Persie’s rise to form, though. The Dutchman has notched in each of the last four and has finally found the form of old but at 13.9, non-owners are likely to be swayed by Rooney’s 11.0 price tag as a route into Moyes’ attack.

Seven goals in the last seven Gameweeks highlights the form of Loic Remy. The Newcastle forward’s prospects have further improved since being shifted to centre-forward as Alan Pardew moves from 4-3-3 to 4-4-2 and at just 7.9, he’s offered superb value for money – back-to-back home games with Norwich and West Brom beckon, while a trip to Swansea and even United won’t deter the Frenchman, who has helped steer his side to recent wins over Chelsea and Spurs.

Christian Benteke continues to toil since returning from injury but the schedule still smiles kindly on the Villa frontman. Paul Lambert’s side square up to West Brom, Sunderland and Fulham in the next four – offering the big Belgian a chance to rediscover his confidence in front of goal. As our recent Members Monitor article attest to, Benteke is still seeing plenty chances inside the box – he’s expected to recover from a knee knock sustained on international duty in time for Monday evening’s trip to the Hawthorns.

Three home games in four (SOU, HUL, EVE) and a trip to Cardiff are on Olivier Giroud’s upcoming agenda. Like Benteke, the Frenchman seems to have lost the knack of scoring – he’s managed just a single strike in the last seven, with a trio of assists over the same period keeping his Fantasy tally ticking over. Nonetheless, with only Nicklas Bendtner foe competition, Giroud is nailed on for Arsene Wenger’s league leaders.

A brace against Stoke in the previous Gameweek suggested Wilfried Bony is starting to find his feet in the top-flight. The Ivorian has been slowly eased into league action by Michael Laudrup – the Potters game was only his fifth start – but with Michu absent, Bony (at 7.4) looks vital to his side’s attacking prospects. A weekend trip to Fulham looks enticing and with home games against Newcastle and Hull, supplemented by a road trip to Norwich in the next five, he’s another mid-price option to consider, with an ownership until 4%.

Romelu Lukaku is another player struggling for form right now. With a single goal in the last four, the Everton forward has already shed plenty of owners this week – still the sixth most popular forward in the FPL game with an ownership around the 22% mark, he takes a tumble in light of a schedule which pits him against Liverpool, United and Arsenal in the next four.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Need a very cheap 5th mid (Have Ravel as a 4th mid) for a max of 4.6. Was going to go with JWP as he's so cheap but apparently he won't be playing once Osvaldo back.

Is Jedinak the best choice? I know he's mostly a 2 point machine but he's a 2 point machine that's nailed on and cheap at 4.3?

Had Jedinak myself until I wildcarded this week. Wouldn't recommend it, I thought he'd at least get the odd bap etc.

Would rather go JWP and have the chance of 0 or 6 points whenever you have to play him.

My weekly look at the captaincy choices and their form against this week's opposition. For those struggling to pick a captain and who believe in bogey teams, etc. here are the popular captain choices with some key stats of their previous performances against this week's opposition. Note - Rooney vs Cardiff and Remy vs Norwich have never happened before hence their omission.

Following feedback from Wakey and AK - Aint Got A Kalou last week I've now reinstated the leftfield punty options and also included an overview of how last week's contenders fared vs their historic trends.

    This week's likely lads:

    Suarez vs Everton
    Appearances - 4
    Goals - 3
    Assists - 2
    Yellow Cards - 1
    Red Cards - 0

    Van Persie vs Cardiff
    Appearances - 2
    Goals - 1
    Assists - 0
    Yellow Cards - 1
    Red Cards - 0

    Aguero vs Tottenham
    Appearances - 3
    Goals - 2
    Assists - 0
    Yellow Cards - 0
    Red Cards - 0

    Giroud vs Southampton
    Appearances - 2
    Goals - 0
    Assists - 0
    Yellow Cards - 0
    Red Cards - 0

    This week's outrageous punts:

    Nasri vs Tottenham
    Appearances - 9
    Goals - 6
    Assists - 5
    Yellow Cards - 0
    Red Cards - 0
Other Notes - Credit to Applebonkers for spotting this one - Nasri's record against Spurs is freakishly good having scored and/or assisted in each of his last 6 games against them. He hasn't got more than 3 goals or 2 assists against any other club!

    Lukaku vs Liverpool
    Appearances - 5
    Goals - 2
    Assists - 0
    Yellow Cards - 0
    Red Cards - 0
Other Notes - Not an obviously attractive option from those stats but Lukaku scored both home and away against Liverpool in the league last season despite being afforded only 40 minutes total gametime.

    Verdict on last week's performances:

    Suarez vs Fulham
Previous record: 3 games, 2 goals
Last week: 2 goals, 1 assist
Verdict: A good looking prospect on paper, performed above his historic trend

    Sturridge vs Fulham
Previous record: 6 games, 3 goals
    Last week: no returns
Verdict: A good looking prospect, underperformed

    Aguero vs Sunderland
Previous record: 3 games, 1 goal (back to back 1-0 defeats at Sunderland)
Last week: 0 goals, 1-0 defeat
Verdict: Was to be treated with caution and this proved accurate as history repeated itself again

    Silva vs Sunderland
Previous record: 6 games, 1 goal (3 successive 1-0 defeats at Sunderland)
Last week: Missed due to injury
Verdict: N/A although the result was in line with the historic pattern

    Van Persie vs Arsenal
Previous record: 2 goals in 2 games
    Last week: 1 goal
Verdict: A good looking prospect, performed exactly in line with his averages

    Rooney vs Fulham
Previous record: 12 goals, 6 assist in 27 games
    Last week: 1 assist
Verdict: An ok looking prospect, performed around expectations

Nasri vs. TOT is impacted by NLD which are usually high scoring games. I think he had one game last year with City when Dzeko scored a hat-trick and he was supplying the crossses. But most goals would be from the Arsenal years, right?

        It's split as follows:

        For Man City:
        Games: 3
        Goals: 2
        Assists: 3

        For Arsenal:
        Games: 6

Bony has scored most of his goals for Swansea with Michu on the pitch.

Michu's production may have been harmed by Bony (though I'm not sure about that myself) but it's certainly not the other way round.

Actually looking at those fixtures the only defence I can be arsed to get in right now is Chelsea. WBA not really tempting me with the derby followed by two iffy fixtures, just when Newcastle look investable the cheapest defenders aren't nailed on, no cheap Stoke defenders, don't expect more than 1 CS from United's next three.

    Maybe Swansea or Villa...

Yeah, not sure I want to get one this week for the derby. Everton have a good record at home, wouldn't want to double up against that with Mignolet. The week after would be perfectly fine as including the not so intimidating Spurs game that's 5 great fixtures in a row.

Ah yeah wouldn't double on any defence right now tbh. This week is particularly hard though, trying to put together a wildcard defence and having to ignore this week a bit.

Help me to arrange my starting line up for this GW:
    A. Januzaj (car) or Barkley (LIV)?
    B. Ben Turner (MUN) or Walker (cit) ? Or Rosenior with -4pt hit?

Don't take hit for defence. Very difficult to make it worth it. Bit paradoxically I would field both Januzaj and Burner.

    Yaya/Henderson/Ben Arfa/ Lallana/Sess

Definitely looking at taking Soldado out now but who else?

I'm trying to sort out a WC defence too.

Think Rosenoir's place could come under threat once Chester is back.

I've also ditched Clyne on my WC, fixtures are horrendous and I'd probably only play him once (against Villa) in the next 8/9

      Its Brave Nibbsy,

Clyne Collins are the past, NEW, AVL could be the future.... and probably slightly cheaper. Definitely better fixtures. I say be ahead of thr pack and do it.

Have 1FT and 1.3 in bank but dont really want to spend big as want to upgrade Nasri or Barkley next week....

who shall i get in for CLYNE?

AVL - NEWC - WBA - or cheap Utd like evans?

Well I've been very close to making the same move myself. I think it's a good move. Reason I didn't do it was because it would most likely be for -4. Lukaku's stats have been appauling. It might all go out the window in the derby though and he could bag a brace or something!

With the Everyton forwards/mids all back and fit it may be time to start scoring again, but Newcastle do have the much better fixtures so I'd have done what you did if I didn't want a more expensive striker.
