For this week’s series of bets, we call on a trio of midfield maestros to deliver – a couple found their way into the Gameweek 12 Scout Picks, while the other found himself squeezed out in a last-minute reshuffle.

Before we assess this week’s market, here’s an early heads-up on the fact Paddy are also offering those yet to register an account some enhanced odds on the days early kick-off. You can get 5/1 on Tottenham to win or draw at City on Sunday afternoon if you sign up to Paddy Power today. Bets are limited to £10 and are open to those without a Paddy Power account.

On to the players now and we look to Eden Hazard to continue the form that has grabbed four goals in the last five league games. Chelsea roll up to Upton Park this evening to face a Hammers side with plenty of concerns at the back – Winston Reid is out, while James Collins, Razvan Rat and Joey O’Brien are all doubts. With Paddy offering 7/1 on Hazard to score and Chelsea to keep a clean sheet, we throw £4 their way, confident the Belgian will turn over Big Sam’s boys.

In Sunday’s match at the Etihad, City might be robbed of the injured David Silva but Samir Nasri has stepped up under Manuel Pellegrini this season. The Frenchman’s started three home games under the new manager and scored in two of them and with visitors Spurs finding the net in three times in the last five Gameweeks, Paddy’s odds of 9/1 on a Nasri goal and City clean sheet are enough to see us part with a couple of quid.

Our final bet focuses on Monday night’s midlands derby, where West Brom play Villa under the Hawthorns lights. Scout Pick Stephane Sessegnon grabbed a goal in the Baggies’ 2-2 draw at the Bridge last time out and looks in good form right now – with Villa scoring in just one of the previous five Gameweeks, the odds of 9/1 on a Sessegnon goal and West Brom clean sheet take up the remaining £4 of this week’s tenner.

Register and Bet £10 And Get £20 Free

If you’re new to Paddy Power, then you can take up any of these odds and get yourself a bonus. You can sign up on via this site and get a free £20 when you register an account and bet a tenner.

Finally, of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

So tempting to do Ozil to Walcott, but probably too risky.

Too early, Walcott will probably only come on as a sub, but Ozil will play the whole game. Wait until next week.

On my hols with terrible internet, bail me out boys! Need some transfer help.

    Migs
    Coleman Toure Ivanovic
    Ozil(c) Oscar Ravel Lallana
    Giroud Lukaku Soldado

Bench - B turner, Kim, Chester. £1.7m in bank

    A. Leave it and do double transfer next week incl Soldado > Suarez

    B. Soldado > Suarez this week and raise 1.3m from the other transfer (oscar > ramsey?)

    C Something entirely different!

    Cheers v much!

nice idea but would be about 0.5m short next week, so I'd have to take a hit with another transfer if I wanted Suarez. Which is why I'm thinking I might as well take a hit this week...thoughts?

I know it's early in the morning, but I'm on wildcard and I'm properly torn on what direction to go in. Other strikeforce is Aguero Suarez:

    A) Migs + JT + GJ + Remy
    B) Krul + WBA-Olsson + Clyne + Rooney

Basically a big defense and Remy or a weaker defense and Rooney.

I can add that I've kept Benteke in mind and that I have 0.6M in the bank so I can get Benteke with (max) one hit after Remy's two good fixtures are up.

I got Mert in either setup. Coutinho... hmm... food for thought, but I want to take the leap and double on LFC, they were solid last season and I reckon they'll find their feet with 4 at the back.

out of aguero, suarez and rooney, i have decided on aguero based on these facts (thanks to fourfourtwo stats zone):

    - No Barlcays Premier League ground has seen more goals scored this season so far than the Etihad Stadium (22)

-Man City have won their last five home matches against top-half teams

-Of the 114 different players to have scored at least 40 Premier League goals, only Theirry Henry (122) has a better minutes per goal average than Sergio Aguero (123) in the competition

hopefully these facts help some of you

      Maybe these will help too.

Spurs have conceded just 1 goal in 5 away games
Spurs games are more low-scoring than any other team, averaging 1.36 goals per game
10 of Spurs' 11 PL games have finished with under 2.5 goals, with all 5 away games ending with under 2.5 goals

spurs last 5 games: west ham, villa, hull, everton, newcastle. have only played 2 top 4 teams so far, and conceded in both of those games. city's attacking stats are far more impressive than spurs defensive stats

The key with a WC is flexibility. It would be an ok double up without the 3 player limit. Perhaps go for GJ + Howard? Or Mig + Evans?

How's this look for today chaps..?

    Harper/Boruc
    Terry, GJohnson, Rosenior
    Hazard, Oscar, Snodgrass, Ramsey
    Rooney, Agüero, Suárez

    (Morrison, Williams, Rat)

Big Question? Captaincy... One of the front three. Thinking either Aguero or Rooney 😕

      Cheers for the replies.

      Think it's gonna be Rooney(c) and Aguero(vc).

Why..? Well, can't ignore Cardiff conceding so many chances against Spurs measily away goals conceded.

      Cue Suarez goes mental. 😕

Everton have actually conceded the second most big chances over the past few games. Their 3 CSs were unlucky. And Suarez is well, Suarez. And in a derby there should be goals.
