Once again, Paddy Power have laid on another enhanced market for the weekend’s matches – this time around, our bookmaker friends are dangling odds of 3/1 for Man City to beat Arsenal at the Etihad in tomorrow’s lunchtime kick-off for those yet to register an account with them.

Bearing in mind that the regular odds of Manuel Pellegrini’s men winning for their eighth match in a row in front of their own fans is 4/5, this looks a standout deal for those yet to sign up with Paddy. If you don’t have an account and fancy a piece of the action, click here to join up and take advantage of the offer.

If you’ve already got an account with Paddy, you can still benefit from the Money Back Special on the Etihad match. Paddy are offering refunds on all losing First Goalscorer, Last Goalscorer, Correct Score and Scorecast bets should Olivier Giroud score anytime during the game.

To clarify, the City enhanced odds specials are limited to a £10 stake, are open to new Paddy Power customers only and subject to the terms and conditions specified.

Finally, of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

    Could Fulham spring a surprise?

    Tips of the week:

    FULHAM V EVERTON

    Everton, on a crest of a wave, take on a Fulham side fresh from a much needed victory against Villa. Everton of late have looked very productive going forward. The vast number of chances created against Utd and Arsenal means It’s very hard to suspect Everton will at least score one and probably two. The propensity of chances Everton are creating suggests Fulham will have to score two plus to win. This means despite the big dnb price, double chance may be a more realistic bet. One important note though is Everton are missing James Mccarthy. He’s played at the heart of midfield and been a key part of their recent impressive form. He has started every game since coincidentally a league cup game away at Fulham in mid-September. I believe this is a plausible reason to argue Everton’s rhythm may be disrupted.

    I think Fulham DNB at 13/2 are definitely worth a punt, merely because of the price. The chances Fulham create however or lack of puts me off a bit. The performance away at Southampton was the poorest in terms of productivity in the final third, I’ve seen all season. This is one of those type of ominous bets. Whilst the price is right, do I believe it can happen is the issue. New manager, victory with clean sheet and rejuvenated and determined Berbatov are all positives for Fulham. Berbatov played a masterstroke last week. If he replicates and it’s a big if than Fulham will be full of belief. You could argue his mood impacts on the rest of the team. All these factors added to the price and the fact Everton are due an off day suggests a freakish result may occur. It will I’m confident happen in the Christmas period and may just happen tomorrow.

    SUNDERLAND DNB 2/1 TIP OF WEEKEND

    The amount of chances Sunderland conceded in the defeat to Spurs was worrying. Poyet said Sunderland could have lost 7-1 and he was right. That said they‘re playing West Ham. West Ham, a team missing Kevin Nolan, are short of goals and will create a lot less chances than Spurs in 90 minutes. If a team is struggling to score goals than all that suggests, if the price is right, that the opposition is worth backing. Both teams are under pressure but you could argue Allardyce more. Both teams are going to be up for the game, they’ve had a week to prepare and the magnitude means it’s a given. I just think that a team like West Ham, short of attacking options cannot afford to be missing a player of Kevin Nolan’s importance. IThe price will drop more for Sunderland but I still believe it’s worth backing if it goes to 7/4.

    Acid test for Arsenal – Not worth at 5/2

    Momentum is not an issue here. Arsenal I believe have despite their defeat incredible self-belief at this moment. The great lesson for them was in the defeat against Utd. They went in there shell a little and I believe they’ll learn and ensure that won’t happen again tomorrow. They believe they can beat City. They’ll fancy there chances. Equally City have incredible momentum. They beat Bayern away with a makeshift side. I don’t need to write more.

    The issue here thereby lies the price. Arsenal can I believe win tomorrow but at the same time I believe they should be 7/2 minimum on the draw no bet market. They played poorly on Wednesday but I believe played smartly at the same time. They never were in real danger of going out and were able to rest Ramsey and Wilshere. The issue however is City also rested their big stars. Then you add City’s form against the top teams. The manner in which they steamrolled over Spurs, over United. It’s very risky backing against them irrespective of Arsenals belief, at a mere 5/2. At 7/2 I would say back but I’m going to refrain because the price is not right.

    Did a little poll on the last page regarding captaincy. Aguero won. Decided to check some stats and because this week is so punty i came up with a little formula for myself.

    Best Captain = Largest number

    The formula is.. goals scored by player + goals conceded by opposition away/home (depending on fixture) + goals scored by team away/home (depending on fixture)

    Lukaku = 8 + 13 + 13 = 34

    Aguero = 12 + 5 + 29 = 46

    Suarez = 15 + 7 + 12 = 34

    Obviously there are many factors but this is my justification.

        if the oppostion is away i take the away goals theyve conceded. If there home I take the home goals conceded. same for the team in question.

    So, my team's in bad shape this week. I have 2FT's to sort it out though. I was thinking of doing Gerrard/Cabaye > Hazard/Barkley to get out the injured players. Sound good? Any thoughts on rest of team?

    Pantilimon
    Zabaleta -- Koscielny -- Coleman
    Ramsey -- Gerrard -- Cabaye -- Januzaj
    Rooney -- Aguero -- Suarez

                  HBA > Redmond as a fifth mid with good fixtures and leaves enough for Silva...and then a big tick for that Ramseyless midfield.

                The more that laugh the happier I am. Liverpool defence away from home is shocking and Paulinho is INCREDIBLY unlucky not to have scored more goals. He scored last week though so his confidence wil be there to put the chances away and on average he has 2/3 clear cut chances a match

            I want to get shot of Amalfitano, and am finding it hard to stop looking at Oviedo as he seems to have been playing out of his skin in his 3 appearances, and is cheap as tat.

            Fer also seems like a nice alternative, but doesn't feel like my idea, if you know what I mean.

            Sissoko also is tempting me as NFC seem to be on a roll.

            Any thoughts?

              Wouldn't get Sissoko tbh. Fer, though, seems like a good pick.

              Think Oviedo is too short sighted.

                Yes I know what you mean but he does seem to be playing himself into a solid place. And dang he is CHEAP... (and rising)

                    He is only playing due to Baines being out who is likely to be back in 2 week plus playing reverse oop wouldn't go near him

              Just to continue the discussion above - is there a significant chance Oscar will not play tomorrow?

              Had a tinker, Good to go?

              Vorm

              GJ, Terry, Burner

              Nasri, Schurrle, Ozil, Oviedo

              Aguero (c) Suarez, Lukaku

              Subs: Tremmel, Januzaj, Baker & Clyne.

              Could do Redmond for Oviedo if i needed...

              2 questions:

              A) Start Burner or Mertesacker?
              B) Captain Suarez, Aguero or Hazard?

              Daily Mail gives 8 points a goal for a midfielder that scores and 5 for a striker.
              Trying to decide whether to captain Hazard or Lukaku.
              Any thoughts for this week only?

              Anyone considering rotating Marshall and Mannone just looked at the fixtures and they rotate rather nicely

                Marshall and Speroni for me. Not sure I could invest in Sun defence again.
