Kompany will be suspended for 3 games now yeah? I'd switch him to a cheaper defender. Maybe a West Ham defender?

Then use the funds to switch Lallana to perhaps Silva.

Looked at AJ and don't see any points there. Would have went with Nolan.

And I think Mirallas is the most overrated player on this site.

It really surprised me as I've always respected how he carries himself. Disappointed too.

Perhaps the pressure is being felt in the Citeh dressing room more than they'd like. Games in hand, but 'must win' and he can't ave expected a 2-0 win after being sent off so early.

Captain pick is obviously crucial, also not making any unnecessary risks. Above all else, forget about your rivals team and just concentrate on picking the best players for the GW, whatever you do don't get influenced by their choices.

Long way to go. I am about the same in my main one, perhaps a few points more behind, but a. Set up better for the double - he has double Soton and double Chelsea defenders. He also armbanded Suarez, so hoping that things don't change from today...z 🙂

I catched up 39 points to ML leader last GW. He scored 32 pts more than me this week.

This game can be a big rollercoaster sometimes. 21 pts is a barely existing margin with 8 GWs still to come, including 3 DGWs at least

His performance against Denmark was the worse performance i have ever seen from a profesional footballer. Yes he has scored a lot of goals in his career and yes he is a good player but he has always been massively over-rated in my opinion.

Playing in a team with no tactical idea also doesnt help.

Rooney is neither a striker or a number 10. He's a drop deep utility player who drifts balls wide, waits for the cross. He doesn't make runs, he's slow on the ball, he can't move and create as a no 10 can.

We'd be better playing sturridge up top and filling the roles behind him with chamberlain, barkley, lallana imo.

I think if he goes to Brazil it should only be because we don't have other striking options. I'd rather have Lambert, Defoe, Welbeck. As it is, he's always always guaranteed a start, somehow. Like the whole team is to benefit him, to the point where sturridge is on the left and has to track back. We've deluded ourselves as a nation that he'll come good. Small team mentality, that we have a great chance if rooney plays well. It's media spin as well.

Hopefully he'll be gone by the euros, though unlikely. Finally the team will be able to move on from the last of the old guard.

      E) Playing with team mates I don't think he really likes much and has so much money now that he is fantasizing about opening up a granny harem while in the middle of a match.

A,1) I think the experience playing in the humid heat of Brazil will do him good and still think he's a mighty fine football player when on song.

    My current squad:

    Speroni/Lewis
    Coleman/Kos/Ivan/Olsson/Chester
    Mirallas/YaYa/Lallana/Januzaj/Hazard
    Sturridge/Suarez/Lukaku

I will probably bring in Adrian for Lewis.

But my issue is Mirallas go Gerrard or Lallana to Gerrard? I know Mirallas has a double game week but my gut tells me that he will wind up playing 108 minutes and getting 3 points. And I will lose some money selling Lallana since I have owned him for awhile. Thoughts?

    Jelavic Studge Suarez

    Boruc Chambers snodgrass turner

I brought it Jelavic cause everyone else in my league added Lukaku and I wanted differential.

    Have 0.1m to play with.

    Any ideas ?

Both of these would be for a -8pts for next week but which one?

    A) Mirallas (DGW) to Gerrard (DGW)
    B) Colback (DGW, Benched though) to Sterling
    C) Just play Mirallas

Im a Man U fan (albeit not as hardened as i used to be - success does that!) and i think Moyes is a decent fella. He has shown himself to be weak IMO.

Not taking off Van Persie today - given the fact that Van Persie failed to try - showed his weakness. If RVP had real character (which he has shown throughout his career that he has not),then he would be questioning himself.

Rooney gave RVP a lesson today in playing for the team, respecting the club, the fans, the Manager. RVP should be forced to watched a video of the work rate of Rooney and Suarez and then he should be given the truth from the manager.

I thought sir Perc was pathetic today and Utd will better without his sad arse there.

There is a real lack of spirit in that team that exposed itself today in what should have been one of the games of the season.

Are there any nailed on West Ham defenders for DGW? Or did Reid coming back make defensive positions uncertain?
