Not sure who AS' source is but they just tweeted this for those that haven't seen:

We're hearing that David Silva will be sidelined for the next 3 weeks after suffering an injury to his right ankle.

      2 Utd - Rooney/Mata (If I go for Rooney!)
      2 City - Nasri, Aguero
      1 Sunderland - Mannone
      1 Hull - Chester

Could check Demicheles in there and technically I do have Januzai who may be gone by then.

Uniteds defence is a nightmare to pick from

Evans , now fit is he actually the most nailed on ?

But has Vidic , Jones ,Smalling , Rio up for that place

Rafael may come back in at right back , and Buttner could get some of Evra's games at left back

As regards Moyes, what happened today appears to be this: English print media journalists were briefed at midday by a high-ranking Man United figure that Moyes was going to be sacked. No date was given as to his departure apart from before the end of the season, but nor was there a request for a media embargo on the story which would have been expected under the circumstances.

Consequently in the early afternoon, all of the UK press ran with 'exclusive' stories saying that Moyes was going, although in truth many of the background analytical stories had already been written just in case.

It then emerged that Man Utd's PR department were caught off guard by this, denying to the BBC and TalkSport later in the afternoon that Moyes was going to be sacked imminently, although falling way short of defending him. Nothing too from the United board in all this, whereas you'd have expected a robust defence of their manager.

The conclusion to be drawn from this is that the MUFC official who briefed the press was flying solo and pursuing his own agenda, or that the Man United press department is in disarray. None of the journalists know which is the case as yet.

I'm led to believe by all sources that Moyes will be fired tomorrow to fit in with UK and US stock exchanges. If so, questions will be asked on the US market as to why sensitive company information was leaked to journalists a day before the decision emerged.

Equally, two very good German sources have said that Borussia Dortmund were putting together a deal for Shinji Kagawa today, but have now changed their mind. Kagawa, it seems, suddenly wants to stay. You can draw your own conclusions as to why.

Klopp isn't leaving Dortmund. He's only had 2 clubs in 25 years as a player and manager and isn't going anywhere for a while.

Van Gaal would be at best a short-term stop-gap.

He'd instil a philosophy into the club, but after 2 years at Bayern, the players were fed up with his methods, just as they had been at Barcelona and Ajax.

I don't bet on things I don't already know the result of! Giggs and Butt as caretaker managers until the end of the season, but then it's not so clear.

Let's put it this way, would you trust the Glazer family and their hired minions to make the right decision this time round? Is Ferguson going to be involved after screwing up the handover so regally? Can Fergie *not* be involved in the selection process, either temperamentally or structurally?

Too many imponderables, too many bad decision-makers in key places.

    Raphael Honigstein @honigstein 3m

Was told today that Dortmund were lining up an official bid for Kagawa. (NOT a swap) Won't happen now - Shinji wants to stay.

Wonder what's changed Shinji's mind beyond the Moyes boot? Klopp coming, you heard it here first 😉

I have got 2 transfer plans in place.

Both the plans leaves me enough in the bank to cover rises and falls in price.

Will sit back and wait more more news now.

Nice that the season will be over soon and I don't have to worry about TV.

Look like the players are lining up to put the boot into Moyes. What makes this laughable they are the second rate ones who Moyes give very little game time to.

Just sold him for Podolski on the basis that Newcastle are utter bobbins and Arsenal will want to win every game.
