The domestic action gets back underway later this afternoon as Premier League champions Man City square up to FA Cup holders Arsenal for the Community Shield. Once again, Paddy are rolling out a great offer for those who have yet to open an account – you can get 7/1 for the Gunners to win in 90 minutes or 9/2 on Manuel Pellegrini’s men to emerge triumphant in regular time:

Given that the regular odds are 11/5 and 5/4 respectively, this is clearly another great offer from Paddy. Click here to get involved.

To clarify, the Arsenal v City enhanced odds special is limited to a £10 stake, open to new Paddy Power customers only and subject to the terms and conditions specified . New customers can only opt for one of the two offers.

Finally, of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

Unless you're referring to the PL then I'd say on a semi basis.

See the issue is that there is an assumption that Suarez gone will further increase Sturridge's output. I've done the stats, he had more opportunities on goal with Suarez in the team than without. He will do well, very well but I think he should be around 10.5.

It was that way round against Monaco, but it seems likely that was just to give Ramsey less running.

Ramsey is a CM, Wilshere is a 10, it would be very weird to swap them.

Screw fixtures, I'm going with Sturridge and Sterling. They're going to score alot more goals between them, over the course of season, than Hazard and Costa and half a million cheaper.

Steady on with that reasoning, Chelsea created a lot more chances last season than people give them credit for, just didn't have a good enough finisher. If Costa fits well, they'll score goals.

    or
    B. Krul and Felipe Luis

Other goal keeper is a 4 million option who wont play all season while my other defenders are Lovren, Davies, Cameron and Wisdom

    Any thoughts??

Giroud isn't 100% fit, Wenger said he wouldn't play after the last friendly

How does that formation of Arsenal seem? 4-3-3 with Sanchez and Caz on the wings?

        Could be staggered 4-3-3.

        Arteta
        Wilshere, Ramsey
        Sanchez, Sanogo, Cazorla.

I watched a friendly the other day and it looked as if Wenger is starting to copy Rodgers' Liverpool by playing Arteta in the Stevie G quarterback role with Ramsey and Wilshere playing further forward together. Arsenal playing a wider branch xmas tree formation to Liverpool's.
