The domestic action gets back underway later this afternoon as Premier League champions Man City square up to FA Cup holders Arsenal for the Community Shield. Once again, Paddy are rolling out a great offer for those who have yet to open an account – you can get 7/1 for the Gunners to win in 90 minutes or 9/2 on Manuel Pellegrini’s men to emerge triumphant in regular time:

Given that the regular odds are 11/5 and 5/4 respectively, this is clearly another great offer from Paddy. Click here to get involved.

To clarify, the Arsenal v City enhanced odds special is limited to a £10 stake, open to new Paddy Power customers only and subject to the terms and conditions specified . New customers can only opt for one of the two offers.

Finally, of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

Hazard? I'm guessing your defence is strong. If you have Yaya you have to live with starting with a cheap defence and then upgrade once your budget grows.

Just managed to get in the car. Thought I would comment on here. Just witnessed a beautiful game. Albeit a second string Dortmund side, Liverpool were fantastic. Impressed by Manquillo, Lovren, Hendo, Couts, Sterling, Studge. All viable fantasy options right now

Manquillo & Lovren - solid defensively. Didn't put a foot wrong. Done enough to warrant a start against Southampton. Could be great value at 5m, if we keep clean sheets. Speaking of which, we were sound defensively. Lovren was a leader. Put in tackles, put players into place. Got a gpal too. Another option in FPL at 5.5 but still better value for money players out there. But on the whole, we looked very good at the back.

Hendo & Couts - As I've said many times on here, Henderson is the midfielder out the 3 who will make the runs into the box. He needs to get goals into his game and this is his chance to do so. Could be a steal or a flop at 6m. I'm tempted by Jordan. Coutinho. A bloody magician. He might not be a great fantasy prospect, but he's fantastic. His link up play with Sturridge is amazing, I think Coutinho will get more goals and assists this season but yet again, Eriksen is better value for money.

Sterling & Sturridge - I presume everyone will jump onto the Sterling ship. I don't even need to say anything, he's something else. Sturridge will have turned a few heads on here, he's been overlooked because of his price. But Sturridge is fixture proof and will bag at least 20 this season.

    Options, options, options.

Had to repost. Caught at the bottom of the last page ðŸ™

I guess Wanyama is more nailed but has nothing beyond 2 pts a game whereas Marney has been known to score the odd goal (scored an absolute stunner once for Spurs v Everton).

He was a better option anyway as he's guaranteed starts, something Albrighton never was.

They're meant to be signing someone for a hefty sum and there's Dawson/Chiriches. Think Kaboul is ahead of those two but not a new big money signing.

          Fixtures aren't brilliant anyway.
