The Scoreboard presents the Fantasy Premier League information you need from the day’s matches all on one screen, including the current top five BPS (Bonus Point System) standings from each match (potential Bonus Point earners are in bold). Actual Bonus Points will be shown when added – all points are provisional until then.

It against the rules to canvas for votes on the main board.

You should be downvoted, or disqualified, you have been spamming the board all day and have even changed your name, its supposed to be about us being represented by the best team

That being the case people should vote for the other team (the bottom one)

And while you're at it, go ahead and report me for being nice, and trying to promote someone that multiple mods have noted puts in a solid effort every week and that they hope wins sometime.

My name is HeelsOverHead and I barely know Frank Black except for his excellent posts for the Community Challenge.

Is all that clear enough for you?

Pretty sure I've tried to go at least two pages between comments, except at the very end.

I was trying to communicate with people who were new on the board, and assumed other people had lives to attend to and might no be here for hours; while on the other hand I'm at home tending to my sick two year old.

      Mannone

      Sanchez Hazard Eriksen Downing
      Aguero Welbeck Costa

People's names should be removed from teams so people vote for the teams instead of names, honestly. It is why I am campaigning for someone who puts forth significant effort each week, not someone I know or who is popular.

Thanks Doosra...we think so too. All this system is doing is laying out the mechanics of the picks in public and also including the community in that, all with a bit of competition and the chance to win a prize.

The old system had us all coming up with different teams and many compromises were made. This system creates a picks from four people's line ups that means that the community champion is part of that process.

As a result I think this has been one of the most successful season's yet for the picks - pretty much every week the picks get way above the average. In gwk 8 our picks had all the big players that scored well.

It also showed those that take part just how tough it can be to come up with the picks. Alot of research, number crunching and form analysing goes on using the members tables, RMT etc....in each of our explanations we try and flag up where we get that information from to give a good reason for our choices.

I think if anyone has any genuine issues with the scout picks just email me in future and let those that are enjoying the competition to do so.

new system doesn't keep all entries on one page, because they're not replies... a bit quirky

if it is in a separate article, there should be a way to block us from seeing the names of the posters in the article so it is a blind vote

I'd get the figures but frankly I haven't the time right now. I seem to remember Sarj or somebody posting his goals and assists before Jan and after and they always dropped off, sometimes he would get 70%+ in the first half of the season.

As of now, I'm scared enough of Agüero to take a hit and bring him in. Even against Man United, he could just go roadrunnerstyle and bag a brace. I should have sold Costa last week to bring him in, stubborn as always...

Depending on Costa news, I might do:
    A) Costa -> Agüero and Bego -> Jakupovic for -4
    B) Welbz -> Agüero and Sterling/Silva -> 4.4m for -4
    C) Wait another week to bring the speedster in for free

Also have Pelle, but Arsenal is less on form (yes I know, they have Burnley).

Well, with keeping Costa looking more likely, I've to look at a different way at my team. 2 FTs and I'm all the more confused.

Team is somewhat like, for next week,

    Begovic,
    Moreno, van Aanholt, Clyne,
    Tadic, Sterling, Sigurdsson, ADM,
    Costa, Aguero (c), Welbeck.

    (Hamer, Davis, Coloccini, Hutton)

    * Now, now, I don't want to sell Tadic, Welbeck and Sterling for another week. I want Sanchéz, but that would mean to lose ADM. I want to sell Sigurdsson, nobody in that range. And err, Baines is not an option with my 0.1 in bank.

Some light on this, please? Cheers. 😉

I'm ignoring Baines. I know, idiotic, but the ship has sailed. I'd just look at one FTS, the same move I, doing, which is:

      • PVA > Chambers

I would actually play van Aanholt this week, and as for Chambers, our fixtures after Burnley are tricky enough.

Chadli is a better enabler than I expected you could get - I'd go for him. Downing also a decent option fixture wise

            11 years, 4 months ago

Yeah, but Chadli's drop in output has been alarming.

Also, Downing's returns are just aren't good enough. Sakho, Valencia and even Amalfitano are doing better. Not enough for a fourth mid spot.

It is like the big haul potential.
There is that little feeling that Sanchéz/Hazard could explode this week.

Other than that, ADM has plum fixtures after this one, and they are improving, and he is at the heart of everything.

Hazard lovers... What am I missing? Over the last 4 gw he's created only 3 chances (Lots of midfielders have created more), and had 2 attempts on target (lots of midfielders have had more). Is this one of those 'visual vs stats' situations? Or something more obvious?

I agree he could score big against Burnley but I am not convinced. The 2 goals he scored against Sunderland were only due to those 2 horrible blunders. Apart from that he looked not too dangerous, along with the rest of the Arsenal team. Whereas ADM is involved in basically each and every ManU attack, plus he is on FK and corners. ADM over Sanchez for me every day

To keep ADM there is also this option for a 12pt hit, which seems like madness:

He misses too many chances. For example Aguero or Pelle gets as many or more chances than Welbeck, and they are much better at actually scoring, so I'd choose one of them for captain

Yeah but that's up to the club doctors. If I were able to play footy at this level I'd do anything to be on the pitch

            • 16 Years

But that is the big issue, a club doctor has to look at if it is ethical to put a young lad on really heavy drugs when they know a week's rest will fix him up. Can be a dicey situation. I agree, I'd be the same from a player perspective.
