The Scoreboard presents the Fantasy Premier League information you need from the day’s matches all on one screen, including the current top five BPS (Bonus Point System) standings from each match (potential Bonus Point earners are in bold). Actual Bonus Points will be shown when added – all points are provisional until then.

His (Costa) return for Saturday’s derby would come as a big boost. “I think so. QPR, one week more, I hope so,” said Mourinho, when asked about Costa’s availability for the game at the weekend.

“The virus is fine. It was hard when Costa went to hospital and obviously it doesn’t help to recover from the injury. But he didn’t come [to Old Trafford] because of the injury, not because of the virus. He aggravated the hamstring because he played two matches in three days and was not with us.”

Will need surgery at some point I think it was. Doesn't mean he can't play and manage it in the meantime, just means he needs more rest inbetween and may miss some games.

Sigurdsson came off after 58 minutes but Monk insisted it was precautionary ahead of forthcoming games, including Tuesday's Capital One Cup tie at Liverpool.

"There's just a little bit of tightness but he's fine - there's no problem there," Monk said.

"Obviously with the games coming up we felt instead of risking it going on any longer we take him off and let him have the rest."

    Costa....

If I didn't have Aguero I'd be looking at bailing right now. No real downside to it at all. In fact you should probably have done it last week.

It's a bit different if you have, say, Aguero and Pelle as well though. Any loss on team value through holding Costa is being compensated for by the other two and any striker you're going to bring in to replace Costa is probably a fair bit cheaper even after any price changes this week anyway

I've already stuck with Costa this far so I might as well wait until there's definite news. Other people might not have that luxury though....

I don't think even mourinho knows- he's gone and lost himself in the web of lies that he's been spinning about him since around about gameweek two. If I had any money id probably bet on believing the operation story but they'll try and delay either until an international break or until remy is back before operating. Good time to do it now though while there ahead by a bit in the league.

It's obvious that Costa will start against QPR. If Man City hadn't lost to West Ham, Costa would have started against Utd, no doubt. But because Man City did lose, Maureen felt as though he could afford to take a risk and rest Costa for one more week.

The ironic thing is, if FPL see this latest Costa news (Jose thinks / hopes he'll be fit for QPR) they may change his flag from 50% to 75% chance....which will reduce the drop threshold and secure him another price drop tonight! 😆

Irony because you'd think that positive news should reduce his chances of dropping whereas due to the quirk of the FPL algorithm it could actually cause him to drop. Irony.

You really think FPL are reading tweets at this time of night? There are only two people in FPL towers atm, one is updating the scores and the other cleaning the bogs. The bog cleaner will do the rises and falls later

Would you guys consider shifting Costa in a 343 to Sanchez in a 352?

Other strikers are Aguero and Pelle

Just imagine when the christmas schedule arrives and the amount of rotation Costa will have. Already had two weeks of 11 million sat on the bench, cant be doing with any more.

    Thoughts?

    Jose on Costa,

"The virus is fine.It was hard when he went to hospital and obviously it doesn't help to recover from the injury.

"But he didn't travel to Old Trafford because of the injury, not because of the virus.

"He aggravated the hamstrings because he played two matches in three days ... and was not with us.

"QPR...one week more, I hope so."

    Sounds exactly right to me.
