I don't get it either. Kane, Ings, Austin, and Bony are all scoring as much if not more than him, and all (except the conundrum that is Bony) have better underlying stats and fixtures than him.
I don't think Rooney is worth around DOUBLE what Kane, Austin, and Ings cost...

Austin last 4, 3 goals and 25pts
So, "are all scoring as much if not more than him" isn't exactly correct.

To me that means opportunity to overtake the masses who own him. I can't see any argument to keep him, pretty much no chance of bonus points unless he scores more than 1 (which he's only done twice, and not since GW4), more at risk of being rested due to the congested Xmas fixture list, recent points return is poor for an over 10m player.
Feel free to keep though, i'll be looking forward to overtaking you too.

Our defence has been very tight recently, and injuries to attacking players will only lead to more caution.
My money would be on a low scorer so no imo.Would only have picked him before the Villa game. Now he only has two good fixtures before a terrible run of games. Go for Kane instead, especially if you can rest him this GW and play him afterwards
