How so? Hes way overrated, both in IRL and FPL wise. Spurs are shocking at the back. But to answer the original question, he played 60-70 minutes for u21 yesterday, yes.

Looking to fit in another big mid for chaldi after the weekend. Would you guys prefer Nasri or Silva? Or soemone else around that price. About 9.4 to spend. Maybe able to cheekily increase that to get ADM later if he keeps dropping

Fecking WBA getting that random set piece goal ruined my Cresswell transfer. Also misjudged how solid Swansea are at the back, really thought QPR could get something out of that game. Oh well, not a lot of points lost.

Ye was a bit of a gamble, but id take the striker ahead of the defender any day, specially since Austins on penalties. Swansea making too many silly mistakes leading to goals for me to be confident in Taylor anyway.

Hes a decent player with good leadership qualities. Good enough to be a profilic member of a decent/low tier team, nowhere near good enough for the top teams. They just run a pretty tight ship at the Liberty.

    Baines, Azpi, Chambers (Wisdom, Yun)

Get a goalie next week as Schmeichel is fine this weekend.

I would shift Austin, he has not performed since everyone started getting him.
Also Chambers might get less gametime soon as Debuchy is in training.
Austin to Benteke and downgrade Chambers maybe.
But wait for resault on scan on Roo

well that is not my point at all, it would be possible to do it in 2 steps ie start with taking out Chambers this week and save the other transfer.
Next week do Austin to Benteke and Get a new goalie, no hits and no threat of having abenched Chambers(Debuchy).
But first wait for scan as that would be more pressing

You're entitled to your opinion, but to say it is 100% and that you are certain is meaningless. There is some doubt. The degree is debatable sure.

Note Mark does not predict him to start in FFS 'Team News' section.

This is evidence of some doubt, whether he in fact starts or not.

Hes started every single game under Pochettino and hes their leading goal scorer. The only reason he wouldnt start is that hes lacking full fitness. Ofcourse im not Nostradamus so theres no way i can ever really know for sure, but if i were a betting man id wager some decent green on it. Takes more than one decent Soldado performance before he claims a starting place after 30+ poor games.

I think the most compelling reason is that Spurs won the game, having lost the previous four PL games, and it was quite a creditable performance.

A manager could take the view that they want to persevere with that 11 for the next game. Certainly not removing a goal scoring part of it anyway.

My view is that Chadli is likely to start. To say that it's certain and 100% is silly really.

No point getting rid of Costa now, and your defense is fine, I think you need to beef up the midfield...

Eriksen is good right now, but speaking from experience he only scores in small patches, so I wouldn't be surprised if he blanks for the next 2/3, then scores again... which is very frustrating...

Of those options, I like C, especially with rest and rotation comin up...

I think it was his injuries which pushed him down the pecking order because I am sure they bought him with a view to playing him regularly

I wouldn't be so sure. They have so many midfield options I would always be nervous with rotation. Especially since he seems to be in direct competition with Cout for the spot.

Lallana can take up wide right and CM. Not Gerrard's deep role, but all the other positions I'd rather him their with his technical ability.

i agree. i dont get it either, looks very strange to a neutral outsider seeing Lallana start for England but not for Liverpool. Either Rodgers is an idiot or Hodgson is blind. or possibly both? Either way he brings poise and a sweet touch to Liverpool, something they've been lacking all season.

bit random but me and my mate decided to do a 2nd team this season full of players who weren't playing in europe (or manchester united) bar 1 (costa) and the results are quite surprising, currently my 2nd team is in the top 30k overall. Brought in Giroud for Costa...
Happy enough with that after last night anyway.

16pts from 4. Hopefully a lot more points later.

    Depending how Giroud goes..
    I am thinking either
    A. Stick with him and get in Baines for Clyne + Change Howard
    B. Bring back Costa right away + change Howard

    Howard, Gilks
    Cahill, Clyne, Chambers, Wisdom, Naylor
    Sanchez, Downing, Hazard, Siggy, Marney
    Aguero, Austin, Giroud,

    3.6m in account, 2 ft
    What do ye think?

I'm not crazy about tripling up on Arsenal cover or the fact that is Giroud coming off an injury I'd assess his play tomorrow...(signed Arsenal supporter).

Def get Baines in for Clyne
Consider other options for Grioud...Benteke has great fixtures.
