I think Mertesacker plays decent when Koscienly is playing with him. He's also one of the few leaders Arsenal have on the pitch. Be a bit early for him to be replaced by Chambers

Maybe switch to Coleman, everytime I see them play he is so far forward. Be hasty replacing Baines though, we are more expectant because of his recent amazing run, but those points will come soon enough. Plus Miralles is made of glass and might be shifted to the right when Pinear is back up to speed.
That is why I got rid of baines few weeks ago on wildcard. His fixtures are very mixed extremely difficult then easy fixture.
More consistent value elsewhere I think.

IMO on Baines, minimum requirement for a defender is clean sheets.
Been pretty much top scoring defender for last three seasons. Such a heavy weighting of points for goal plus guarenteed 3BPS means it can compensate for lack of clean sheets.
Indeed. Not consistent points. But explosions occasionally.
In previous seasons Everton have kept clean sheets. They are not doing so this season.
Baines attacking output is significantly higher than previous seasons, he is still scoring at a better rate than any previous 5 seasons. He is averaging a point every 16.47 minutes which is marginally higher than last season and significantly higher than the 4 seasons before that.
No transfers for me. 🙂
