Lads, with 2.7 ITB what would you say looks best from the following options:

    a) Sigurdsson - Eriksen
    b) Sigurdsson - Hazard and downgrade Ivanovic to a 5.9 (-4)
    c) upgrade Duff to have more options during the hectic fixtures

Dzeko was a mistake lets move on from that.

I see no reason to take a hit on Oscar. Could you not just do Dzeko to Giroud/Carroll/Sahko/Kane?

Is there a list of BPL players who are going away for the ACON? Yun and Jedinak will be out in January for the Asian Cup. But what about the players who compete in the African Cup of Nations?

    Morning Gents,

Just a quick one, Baines would be in 7th in the midfielders section if he was listed as such. Nailed on on pens (with Mirallas potentially out also likely to rediscover his attacking menace), and classed as a defender. He also finished pretty much near the top of fpl year in year out.

What's not to like about that??

Sometimes it's not about how well he can score over the course of the season. Some may not keep that long.

You wanna get of the Baines Bus when he's not scoring particularly well, invest in somewhere that's more fruitful grab their points and when the Baines Bus kicks off again, hop back on!

Morning chaps, any advice would be much appreciated.

Having made one transfer, this is my front 8:

    Hazard -- Oscar -- Alexis -- Siggy -- Boyd
    Rooney -- Kane -- Austin

This leaves me with £5.2m in the bank! Next transfer will be a 4-point hit:

    A) Siggy to Yaya
    B) Oscar to Yaya
    C) Boyd to Silva/Nasri, then bench Siggy this week, and Austin next week (away at Arsenal) and play 3-5-2

    Thanks!

Because I play this game for fun. 😆 I just want to buy players, and see them score - quickly, short term. If he doesn't start, oh well, too bad. If it looks like he's not going to start the next match, I'll just give him a boot.

I should do a quick review of my transfers, but I'm fairly certain most of my transferred in players don't last long in my team. 😆

I've already won my $$ mini-league. Bunch of amateurs 😉 On top by around 50 points or so and it should stay that way...I hope!

Well, I'd love to have a high OR - but I don't have a target OR in mind. Try my best to go up the ranks but always make sure to keep it fun and punty. 🙂 Not THAT bothered about it, but it's part of the fun!

      Yeah I'm contemplating this myself.

The numbers show a fairly close race however with the shot frequency and chances created actually favoring Costa!

However one striker has better form than the other.

I think for me it gonna come down to bonus points. Costa has to score a brace for any chance of them but rvp seems to play for the bonus a bit better. Tough choice. Flip a coin.

Okay, so I've narrowed it down to:

    (A) Oscar to Yaya (c).
    (B) Costa to RvP (c).
    (C) Save FT.

    Thanks!

why is Demi a better option than Mangala? Doesn't the latter get more base bonus points and isn't Demi more likely to be rested during the x-mas period due to his age? Demi might get rested for Boyata some game?

      Managala is on 4 yellows.

It's mainly the fact he is 1 yellow away from suspension. Otherwise I would definitely have got him over Demi.

Cheers guys, Eriksen seems to be the consensus around here. Will probably get Silva for Siggy in a couple of weeks.

Keeper dilemma, which will you field?

    A) Fabianski (A) Hull
    B) Panti (A) Newcastle

Baines dilemma, will you keep or change?
    1) Baines > Zambeleta
    2) Baines > Ivanovic
    3) Baines > Yun + Jedinak > Eriksen (-4 points)

    Thanks in advance! Cheers!

Anyone know where I can find ownership stats in top 100 or so? Especially interested in Austin/Bony ownership.

I don't own either (and haven't all season), just trying to work out if it's worth bringing one in, or someone else for a hit.

With decent backup on bench would you do:

    Bertrand --> Clichy for free?

Wouldn't go near Clichy. Kolarov will get game time

Thats what the decent backup is for. But yes, see your point.
