Only saints and Chelsea are delivering week in week out. U could get a villa WBA and Sunderland defender but they're not as consistent.
Tripled up on the saints back line earlier in the autumn, saved my season from being a total write off. Will be back on that wagon after I wildcard

Looks like my Baines => Zaba few weeks back made him to get points again.Yeah, but look at Chelsea(Terry) fixtures GW26-32.....
My problem is Baines over Terry leaves me with a 5th def of Wasi/bruce instead of say PVA.Yeah I know.
Played with idea of Baines, Terry, Bertie/Clyne, but don't want to waste that PVA potential....

Bored. Been seeing a lot about goalkeepers on here. I have for many years been a fan of the cheap rotation pair. Have gone now for the Foster/Myhill pair.
There is such a relatively small gap between the ‘big’ goalkeepers and the ‘lower’ ones at the end of the year it doesn’t seem worth the cash
I do understand the Forster (SOT) love but was thinking this-
Forster 5.6m 10 clean sheets 87 points
Heaton 4.6m 5 clean sheets 77 points
So if you had Heaton and Clyne- 10.5 million and 169 points.
Forster and Trippier 10.4 million and 147 points.
I have added that simplistically with Trippier to show cover for both teams. That money saved on Forster to Heaton could be used for any defender in that price range.
Even DDG is only 5 points ahead of Heaton and Hart is only 10 points ahead, both at substantially more price wise.
Cheap keepers make sense right, or am I looking at this wrong?Heaton and Bertrand here since GW 5. Pity I missed Heaton(7) and Bertrand(11) in GW 4.

You are right, but this year with so many mid-low price players doing so well, there isn't such a need to save cash. Unless I put Costa and Aguero in my WC team U really don't know where to spend all my money!

Pulis factor is a big plus as well that effectively boosts Foster's appeal (+ he's pretty good at saving pens). Post match, interviewers asked Berahino what they worked on different with Pulis. his answer -

For 2 WC's holders, isnt it wise to use your January WC earlier rather than later?

Same boat. I've planned a long way to use my winter Wc in GW23 for many reasons - 2 weeks break, twist of fixtures for certain teams and getting THAT man in Man City.
But now everything's pointing to the opposite direction - Kuni s already healthy, and Soton got into gear early 😆
Playing your original WC late may look pretty wasteful but it gives so much advantage to kill off rivals. I'm hoping there'll be a fashionable DGW in the later GWs.
