Our Sunday delve into the members data arrives once again this evening. We cast an analytical eye over Tottenham’s goalscoring playmaker, Palace’s in-form frontman and the Magpies’ flourishing Frenchman, whilst the worrying form of Villa’s misfiring target man and United’s skipper give cause for concern.

Has today's game changed anyone's position on Aguero? Still getting him in on your WC?

Yup but can put off wildcard another week.

Those using it now - why? It seems like the worst week of all to use it.

Give me your argument for why you should wait? I mean obviously it depends on your team, but in general. Not saying you're wrong, just playing devil's advocate

City play Chelsea this week. In your WC, you probably want loads of City and Chelsea players, so getting them this week when they play each other is not good.

But I (and lots of others) have lots of Chelsea and City already. Haz, Fab, Costa, Silva, Hart, personally.

Of the City players I'd be looking at for the WC are Aguero and poss Terry if I drop Fab/Costa. And of course I'd like to get rid of Hart for the Chelsea game. Aguero is Aguero, he can score a hatrick vs Bayern, so not worried about his first game being tough.

So can you see why there's a big argument for WCing now also?

Nope. If you haven't got Aguero, this is literally the worst possible week to bring him in.

Like I said, he's fixture proof. Sure he's just come back from injury and didn't set the world alight today, but can always explode. If you can get him sooner, why not?

Also, you didn't address my points about Hart etc who I have already but would get rid of in the WC. Poss Fab too

Well I have 2 FT so it is a bit different for me 🙂

But I'd even want to even use my one FT with a bit more planning. I guess if you did that last week and always planned to use it now then it's fair enough (but I suspect noone would plan to wait till this week for Aguero (che)).

I don't agree with this Aguero is fixture proof thing. Yes he can score against big teams and has in the past. But overall it's obvious that on average this is the game that he his likely to get less points. Especially now Chelsea will be happy with a draw.

What's better for the short term future?

    Sterling, Punch and Costa

    or

    Fab Di Maria and Austin.

Feel like Costa is this years Yaya where the standard theme amongst FFS is that he is lucky etc....but costa still continues to make points

He's not lucky. Look at how he did the last two last seasons. Getting the lone forward for the best team in the league seems like a reasonable tactic!

I'd not be bringing in Sterling or Di Maria at the moment. But much prefer your option A.

That's just some idiot feeling overexcited after a good performance.

If we started going by those, Chelsea has won the title, the CL and gone unbeaten already.

Jokes apart, I consider Kos to be the best central defender in the league. By a fair margin.

Personally think Terry is shielded amazingly thanks to Matic. Doesn't have the turn and pace without it.

Find Kompany way too overrated (he's been decent, not great the last two seasons).

That said, completely see where you come from. Kos is a top top defender regardless.

    Sanchez Hazard ADM Silva (Boyd)
    Aguero Austin Kane

    0.1m ITB, 1 FT.

    A) Save
    B) Any changes?

Really like the look of the team but the results weren't good today (39 pts with a 3pt captain included). Think I should hold the transfer TBH. Can upgrade Kane/Austin to Giroud (and downgrade someone) if they don't seem to be performing.

The only people who are "top" defences would be Koscielny/Fonte. Kos is great, Fonte may not be the best considering Southampton's injuries. It doubles on West Brom (who, for all the talk of Pulis, we still haven't seen enough of).

Essentially, feels to little value is invested in the defence (and while that may pan out, I would personally look to strengthen it). If I could get a Chelsea defender for one of Wisdom/Baird for example, I think it would be solid.

Especially because there are great options to downgrade to in Forward/Midfield.

Not enough changes but more importantly for me - it can be better used when you plan for it. He could ship any of those for a weeks punt on someone with a good fixture next GW.

    Starting XI if no changes
    Forster
Terry Bertrand Clichy (2 bad subs)
Hazard Sanchez Silva Downing (bad sub)
    Costa Austin Kane
    1FT 1m itb

      Lovely front 7.

Not sure about Bellerin and Lucas.

      PVA and Boyd?

Bellerin is my punt. Arsenal's defence with Koscielny is great.

Nope. Might do Di Maria>Fabregas after the Leicester game or even Cazorla>Oscar. My defence seems solid enough for the long-term to get cleansheets. I got confidence in Southampton, Arsenal and West Brom. Swansea don't have the worst home fixtures either. I can still see Chelsea keeping cleansheets but I had to sacrifice a place somewhere.

Insane. They scored 15 points in 44 seconds. Packers gave this one away.

To everyone saying Agüero and Costa are hard to fit in one team. I guess you just have to have a high TV. I fell like I had so much luck in being able to get a solid team with both of them in it. Took a lot of thought though and I feel like I have good rotation everywhere and even a benching headache up front. But the question is.

    A) post team and take advice from people smarter and less crazy than me

    Or

    B) assume that there is method to this madness and silently sit there hoping for the best?

I think value can be gained from people on this site in a big way.. your league competitors most likely wont know your team so thats the positive that i can see...

people might look at your team by looking back 30 odd minutes....
alex bruce's dad sez he's injured might not play next gameweek,
      bellerin is rotation risk
beyond that your squad looks interesting...

Of the top 10k, by mid-day Saturday:
    28% had used their wildcard
    71.8% still had theirs
    0.2% were active

It would be interesting to know the current 'active' %? Has Aguero's performance today made a lot of people hold off?

If you didn't get him this week, you wouldn't want to get him away to Chelsea, whatever he did today.
