The final match of Gameweek 22 gets underway at Goodison this evening as Everton prepare for the visit of Tony Pulis’ West Brom. The new Baggies boss steadied the ship with a 1-0 home win over Hull in his first league match in charge but faces a tough task to turn around his side’s woeful away form, with just two points accrued in their previous five road trips.

Saido Berahino has netted five times in two matches across all competitions since Pulis’ appointment, though, and will fancy his chances of breaching a backline that has conceded in each of the last 11 Gameweeks. The likes of Andre Wisdom and Joleon Lescott are also on Fantasy radars as we look to the “Pulis effect” to transform the West Brom defence.

For the hosts, Romelu Lukaku and Kevin Mirallas will be looking to kick on from their midweek cup displays at West Ham. Both grabbed a goal apiece in the Upton Park defeat, with the latter also supplying an assist for his compatriot, whilst at the back, Leighton Baines’ two assists in the last three suggest he could yet persuade many Fantasy owners to hold for now as the Toffees attempt to rediscover last year’s form and climb up the table.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

In my WC squad, I only have one player with an away fixture next GW (Aguero).

I am at work so can't watch the game. I have a bet on the draw. I want to lay part of my winnings off by putting some money on Everton to win. Am I right in thinking (reading match commentry) that it looks like an Everton win or a draw and WBA don't look like getting a goal?

Everton have had all the possession and chances, but WBA are defending well and I definitely wouldn't bet against them snatching it on the break.

That is my only worry. I want to offset some of my potentail profits and I think it sounds as though Everton are the best bet to maximise return so i'll have to take the risk that if WBA do get a goal on the counter that Everton can snatch one back.

Looks like you holders of Everton defenders can start writing down 6 points plus. West Brom look very wary of doing anything so bold as going into the Everton half.
