We’ve a couple of Premier League encounters to tide us over this afternoon. First up, Arsenal entertain Villa at the Emirates as Arsene Wenger’s men look for a fifth win in six attempts – the likes of Santi Cazorla, Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud have earned plenty of new investors over the last couple of days as a result of Alexis Sanchez’ hamstring problems. With Villa failing to score in each of their last five, the Gunners’ prospects of a third straight shut-out also look likely here.

Later in the day, Southampton welcome under-strength Swansea to St Mary’s at 4pm. Eljero Elia was drafted in by 100,000+ FPL managers on the back of a double at Newcastle last time out but with Sadio Mane back from the African Cup of Nations, the Dutchman’s new owners will be eagerly awaiting Ronald Koeman’s team sheet. Like Arsenal, the Saints will be optimistic of a clean sheet today – Swansea are devoid of the suspended Gylfi Sigurdsson and have scored more than a single goal in just one of the last 11 Gameweeks.

    A.) Cahill ---> Zouma

    That Arsenal midfield is a minefield of potential points, Ozil, Cazorla and Theo all showing what they can do today, when you add Sanchez into the mix its going to be really tricky to pick the right option

      Yep Arsenal could easily score 3 or 4 and your player not even chalk an assist.

    Took Ospina, Walcott and Sanchez this week on WC.. Surely Walcott is the dodgy 1 when Sanchez is back.. Walcott -> Cazorla for free this week? 😐

      I said it before the game, and I'll say it again, on current form Theo drops out first for Sanchez.

      It will take time for him to get back to where he needs to be, and today he was our worst player.

    78 with Forster, Bertrand and Pelle isn't a disaster I suppose.

    Can only dream of what could have been, never get lucky.

        Home to QPR. Good form all season despite injury.
        He had 4 shots and created 3 chances yesterday, more than Walters or Ireland

      Will be close. Giroud likely to lose more, but he does have a 5 BPS cushion

      You have to start thinking so. Sanchez to Walcott would be best, I think.

        I already did it on wildcard last week. Sanchez is no value with Walcott and Ozil back and sharing his points and gametime. Sanchez to Ozil better long term I think. Cazorla short term.
