With bragging rights over Paddy at stake, we’ve backed the Tigers’ latest recruit, Villa’s struggling striker and Arsenal’s form playmaker to bring home the bacon.

Hull City’s home tie against Queens Park Rangers has us eyeing up the Tigers’ new striker Dame N’Doye. The Senegalese international notched a goal and an assist on his debut last week and will fancy his chances against an R’s rearquard that’s only mustered two shut-outs in their previous 10 outings. Meanwhile, Steve Bruce’s men have recorded two clean sheets in their last three home clashes, so we’ll happily take up Paddy’s 9/2 offer on N’Ddoye to score and Hull to keep a clean sheet against QPR to the tune of £3.

For our second bet, we’re putting faith in Tim Sherwood to kick start Christian Benteke’s season as Aston Villa play host to an injury-ridden Stoke City side that’s fallen to consecutive 4-1 defeats. Despite not scoring in the Villans’ 2-1 FA Cup win over Leicester City, the imposing Belgian striker was a thorn in their side, fashioning as many shots at goal (ten) as the entire Foxes outfit. As such, we see Paddy Power’s 5/1 offer on Benteke to score and Aston Villa to keep a clean sheet as worthy of a £4 investment and make this our bet of the week.

We’ve reserved our final wager for the weekend’s first London derby, as Crystal Palace welcome Arsenal to Selhurst Park.       I have the same issue and currently looking either Dawson or Rose

      Dawson same price bracket and can stay long term

      Rose good bet for the DGW but a bit more expensive and I might need the extra cash somewhere else (i.e. to bring costa in)

      Bruce (hull) or stoke defender does not convince me

      I'm also running my wife's team. She's basically gone to a coaching role while I'm director of football, deciding which players to bring in.

      Thing is her team is now about 8,500 and mine nearer 50,000!

    I don't understand why most here thing Kun will get less points than Hazard. Since he has been back, Kun has played 90,83,90 72(taken off as a precaution). He has played 90 mins before the deciding match against Bayern. He has had 10 days rest. It will also be important for Pelle that his team and Aguero in particular to have confidence before the Barca match so I expect City to score quite well and Aguero to score a couple.

    On the other hand, Hazard hasn't been afforded much rest this season and Mou said that he isn't in the best condition. He didn't train before the CL match and now add fatigue of the CL match to that, he is in need of rest. Especially with CoC final coming up. Burnley at home is the best opportunity to rest him if we look at Chelsea's upcoming matches.

      Hazard's returns at home hasn't been the same since the Hull game in December. Actually, his returns have been much better away if you take the last 4 home and 4 away games. Home: 6,3,8,3 averaging 5 per game. Away: 10,7,3,10 averaging 7.5

      see below, I'm also wondering this... Hull haven't really had a settled defence all season. Depends whether you need him to be playing for you much - if he's 5th choice for you then he's cheap enough that it doesn't matter a great deal if he misses out occasionally.

      Sod's law dictates he'll get benched GW 27 when there are all the blanks.
