Tottenham entertain fierce rivals West Ham in Sunday’s midday kick off, offering Fantasy managers an opportunity to scout potential candidates for the Lilywhites’ upcoming double Gameweek 28.

Harry Kane – who’s only failed to score in two of his last 10 starts for Spurs – remains the most popular forward in the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) and ranked fourth in our Captain Poll this week. Meanwhile, only Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez (12) has scored more goals from midfield than Christian Eriksen’s nine thus far – the Dane drops to the bench today, however. Moussa Dembele is also on one or two radars as a possible budget midfield prospect after serving up a goal and two assists in the last three Gameweeks.

Sam Allardyce’s men will go in search of their first league win away from Upton Park since Gameweek 14, as defensive duo Winston Reid and James Collins return from injury. In the wake of Andy Caroll’s season-ending surgery, Diafro Sakho (one goal in last seven appearances) and Enner Valencia (without a goal in 13 outings) shoulder most of the goalscoring burden, and will be encouraged by the fact that Tottenham have managed just two shut-outs in the last 10 Gameweeks. Meanwhile, Stewart Downing’s ownership will want more from the 30-year-old midfielder: he’s tallied just one goal and a single assist in his last eight outings.

I am transferring Chadli out this week (Terry, Kane, Haz benched)

I am considering Chadli to Boyd.

    Why?

It will leave enough cash to go:

Sanchez, Hazard, Eriksen and Walters (Boyd) in the DGW. Thoughts?

Kouyate has scored against United and against Tottenham in two of the last 3 games. At 4.9, he could make for a very strong case in GW27 especially since West Ham play Crystal Palace.

He's a deep lying midfielder - they aren't goal scorers. Just similar to the Schneiderlin bandwagon at the beginning of the season.

Why do West Ham fans always want Big Sam sacked?

So they can go down like Bolton, Newcastle and Blackburn did after he left them?
Or like they were themselves before he brought them up and kept them up safely?
Its hardly like they can expect to be higher than Chelsea, City, United, Arsenal, Liverpool or Spurs. So basically only Southampton of the other 12 are doing better.

When exactly was it they played this "West Ham way"?
Ive never known them to play entertaining football.

    Have 2FTs.

Will be doing Terry > Dawson [will only lose 0.1 on Terry so can get him or Ivan back if needs be] and Fabregas > ...... ?

Who would you want as a 'guest' midfielder for one week, with 12.1 in the bank, considering I'll buy in Hazard the week after [or Eriksen, then Hazard] and have Cazorla, Sanchez, Silva and Boyd as other midfielders?

    Had OShea PvA Baird Bruce

To avoid doubling up I kept Baird as starting thinking in case he starts he could be good for a CS.
And chose PvA for his supposedly more attacking nature.
And then PvA and Baird come up with 1 pointers to keep OShea's CS rooted to the bench. 😡

    1. Les Bleus
      • 14 Years

You really should have started O'Shea (obviously) just on the fact that Baird is not nailed on.
