Can't get over how bad Sunderland's back four is.

Actually, scrap that. The whole team is useless.

van Aanholt would do better in a better team. He is pretty good when attacking.

I think he'd be better suited in a wingback system.

I don't think he'll ever be good enough defensively in a LB position.

Even Dani Alves is as bad defensively, but his team keeps CS in around 70% of the matches.

For the first thing, he could totally play with a couple of decent CBs for a change.

I'm pretty sure Alves is better than PVA.

Barca dominate the majority of the matches in that league.

Has Alves got 2 clean sheets vs Burnley in a single season?

Has PVA won La Liga 4 times, CDR 3 times and the Champions League twice? 😉

People seem to be making a lot of this Arsenal run.
It's impressive but it's not as if they are under any pressure/have any end goal?

If I go forward with Austin to Murray on my FT (totally probable), I would still be left with 10.

    Krul
    Alderweireld----Bertrand---Ivanovic
    Hazard----Silva----Eriksen----Sigurdsson
    Murray---Kane.

And a bench of Ospina, Sturridge, PVA, Lucas and *Naughton.

Is there anywhere you would take a hit? Or just play 10?

    Bottomed last page....

Seen a few posts on last few threads about people swapping Arsenal players to Liverpool players to prepare for DGW (benching this week), general points from me:

1 They play FA cup next weekend and players could get injured
2 Gives other ML players info on who you will have for the DGW (assuming point 1 does not happen)
3 At least wait until Monday night if your not convinced by my auguments

    Hope this helps 🙂

infinintely possible but they play QPR GW36, no City that week would scare me

But it could be argued that that week you get Kun or Silva in for Sturridge or a Pool mid as they play Chelsea

    However.
Spurs have turned into a shambles, I've no idea what the hell has happened. Kane and Benteke are quite similar players...good big target men in the true CF style of yesteryear. Villa look like they have done o good job tactically feeding the big fella whilst Spurs seem to have no game plan at all...almost hit and hope...just rubbish really.

They don't even fit together as a team

CPL have been playing with Zaha, Bolasie, Puncheon and Murray..all playing at speed on the break and all playing the same style.
Arsenal have been doing their usual great short passing game.
Villa have been getting the very early ball in to Benteke and giving him plenty of space.
        blah blah blah

What is Spurs plan supposed to be ?

Pass it around a lot and hope something happens. Its all at such a slow tempo though that its all very predictable. Short passing game works when its a much higher tempo actively stretching defences.

The last two Spurs games is the worst I have seen them for a while. But I honestly believe they have overachieved this season. The coach is new and almost every player is "new" or very young. Poch needs to sort out the defense that should be his first priority this summer and get a second striker.

Benched him this week but that was always the plan, so I'm not too upset about it. The next 2 weeks are the ones where I need him to produce.

Didn't even know Cresswell was one free kicks. Beat Bego on his near side.
