Newcastle are terrible, Kane doesn't stay quiet for long.

Sneaky captaincy shout there too. The vast majority will captain Aguero though of course.

Has to he Aguero surely? Been unlucky in recent weeks but has finally scored, can see him doing well in these next two.

Absolutely. Aguero is the sensible choice, but is the sensible choice always best?

Ha no, Kane this week for example.

Spurs look a bit in limbo at the moment though, don't fill me with confidence.

I guess the difference this time is Newcastle also lack confidence and motivation. That should at least level the play field. Spurs will be looking for a rebound I think.

Am i wrong for thinking that the combination of
    A)Schmeichel + Myhill (SWA bur/CHE NEW new)
    will outscore/match
    B)Myhill + Mignolet (cpl hull/wba QPR new)
    at 0.9 cheaper?

Got Foster/Myhill atm and a luxury 2nd transfer so doing a Foster OUT goalie swap this week. The first combo has more home games vs sides with nothing to play for.

Is this a wise tactic? Only works with 2 FTs.

Bring in a DGW player (e.g. henderson) if you are already able to field 11.

Example: Doing sanchez > henderson rather than sanchez > yaya as a 1 week punt. Will allow for 1 extra dgw player without a hit the following week

        If i did sanchez > hendo...gives me

        Myhill
        Terry - Fonte - Clyne
        Haz - Silva - Eriksen - Boyd
        Kun - Kane - Remy

if u keeping vardy for gw35(NEW)..then get vardy..too hard to predict who will do better over the next 2gw..so maybe the third GW could prove to be the determining factor.

    Lloris
    Iva Toby Dawson Wollscheid
    Hazard Silva Eriksen Moses
    Aguero Kane

    Panti Janmaat Giroud Ozil

    0.2ITB and 2FT
Dropped from 5k to 10k in a few weeks 🙁

What do I do next? I want Sterling, Henderson, Skrtel and Vardy for the DGW. Thinking of N'Doyle as a differential too.

Do i do Kane out for Vardy? Or do I bring in Fab instead of hendo? Some advice bros! 🙂

Get a GK this week and do Eriksen > Sterling , Moses or Ozil > Hendo Dawson/Janmaat > Skertel for -4 or -8 if you want Vardy too.
Newcastle are leaking so many goals atm so keep Kane for this week.

    Suggestions for this team lads?

    Krul, Pants
    Ivan, Kos, Berty, PVA, Wasi
    Alexis, Silva, Haz, Mané, Boyd
    Benteke, Kane, Remy

    1FT, 4.5 banked.

    A) Benteke + Kos > Aguero + 5.6 (-4)
    B) Other

Open to suggestions, a bit stuck here.

In fact they do. I'm seriously considering those players for my DGW34 WC even though MU don't have a DGW. Good fix for the following 3 GWs. Plus they're clicking well. Only prob is City have a plum fixture in GW34, and I'm still unsure what to do with Silva. Kun I'm keeping.

If you're very certain about WCing in DGW34 then I wouldn't mind doubling up Bolasie and Murray. Might not work though, since it's Pulis.

Remy to murray im doing for certain, like your giroud move

for the second, even though i have silva, im tempted on a 1 week yaya punt. He's been getting a lot of flak and has a good record against west ham.

Re bolasie - he needs space to run behind defenses which I dont see him having as much with West Brom parking the bus

      this i agree with

palace are one of the best counter-attacking sides in the league, dont see them being as effective when teams park the bus like Pulis would probably do

at the same time, an early goal for Palace would really open up the game as WBA will defo concede on the counter while trying to score

    Hi Lads!

I have Berahino, is it worth taking a -4 to play Murray this week? The move would also afford me Sterling over Coutihno. I'm chasing 45pts. Any help would be much appreciated.

    A) GW33 Berahino > GW34 Coutinho

    or

    B) GW33 Murray -4 > GW34 Sterling

    Thoughts on this plan lads?

    Krul
    Ivanovic, Terry, Dawson
    Hazard, Eriksen, Mane, Boyd
    Kun, Kane, Gomis

    Pants, Wolly, Sanchez, Koscielny

    2FT, 1.4m

    This GW: Gomis -> Vardy
    Next GW: Eriksen/Mane -> Sterling/Coutinho

Gives me 6 DGW'ers and allows me to keep my two Arsenal players.

wc for this week so far

    schmeichel
    terry/bertrand/ivanovic/Dann
    lennon/hazard/silva
    Aguero/murray/vardy

    ospina/moreno/sterling/henderson

    What ye think?

will start bringing in more Arsenal cover post 34

same CHE trio, so i like it. Plus the GK combo - very lovely.

Like I said to Genius above, not sold on Vardy yet. Rest is good. Are you going to play Lennong everyweek after DGW34 after this and bench Vardy?

not that far away mind you 😉

I think the team is gtg this week, especially if you're set on things like Terry instead of Fab, Sterling/Hendo instead of Cout, and so on. Consider Berty -> Toby so you can upgrade Lennon. Good luck with your WC

I guess only Kosc is nailed on when fit. Gabriel is injured?

yeah I will go with 2 in attack I think. I've changed it around a bit. Will save trade next week. Downgrade Iva to arsenal defender. Gives me 3-4 to upgrade lennon and murray.

50-50 that... going by burnley's recent lack of a cutting edge im not confident of more than 2 points for boyd..

for a free I would consider it, but not for a hit no

It is for free, but it means a hit next week to bring in Hendo and Mignolet.

Unless i just bring in Mignolet next week, and ignore the minefield that is the LFC midfield

Wouldn't say lethal. Struggles with finishing (as demonstrated today) and seems to refuse an offering of bonus points when he scores

true but I still think of all the pool mids he is the most essential.. even when sturridge is back im not confident danny will be able to play 3 games in 7 days

I just this minute sold Boyd for Bolasie. But not for a hit. Don't think I would either for -4. Boyd could easily deliver something as he has done at intervals over the season

I can do it for free this week, but it means either a hit next week for Mignolet and Hendo (Hendo would be for Siggy), or I just bring Mignolet in for free.

How is this for a GW34 WC?

    Schmeichel (Ospina)
    Terry Skrtel Alder (PVA, Vlaar)
    Hazard Fabs Hendo Sterling Silva
    Aguero Vardy (Kane)

Might end up with Moreno instead of Skrtel due to price rises.
would bring in Giroud and an ARS midfielder over a few weeks.

its hard to tell isnt it.. if hes out for the cup game is it worth gambling that he will play 3 games (wba, hul,QPR) in the space of 7 days after?

          1. Eze Really?
            • 11 Years
            10 years, 10 months ago

A big gamble IMO Studge and Sterling. If he plays Sterling could be at wing back. So maybe a better call to leave them both and go for Courtinho Mignolet/Skirtle/Moreno.
Also, do people want 3 Liverpool players after GW34

            1. MARVELLUS
              • 16 Years

Whenever I see them play, they always seem to be switching positions, lots of fluidity. So not devastating IMO if Sterling plays a bit there. Can't see Sturridge playing much for the rest of the season.

If I had the cash I would consider that, not 100% on losing Kane though.
I need the Fabs cash to get Giroud, so he will have to wait until GW36 unfortunately.

I'm getting tempted to wc already this week instead of gw34.
Do you see A-team better than B (better = worth a wc week earlier)?

    A)
    Schmeichel (SWA)
    Toby (sto), Schlupp (SWA),
    Bolassie (WBA), Fab (MUN)
    Murray (WBA), Vardy (SWA)

    B)
    Krul (TOT)
    Bertrand (sto), Dawson (cpl)
    Bolassie/Yaya, Eriksen (new)
    Kane (new), Remy (MUN)

Other players are same, next weeks transfer for A would be Bolassie => Sterling / Coutinho.
Maybe too much expectations for Palace now...
